I would have to agree with Dax on this. It seems in that a dark side should have a degree of pvp before unlocking,

However, that would require that we declare whether we are light or dark pre-glowy, Ha.. swallow that devs. Probly not huh..

Also, based on this observation there might have to be some kind of light-side pts required to unlock light jedi.

I hate to say it but going Jedi you will get "Forced PVP" in the way of BH visits if you get on the terms. Although I dont think it should be a requirement to have set number of PVP points to go jedi, I think all looking to go Jedi should experiencePVP for a while before they unlock so they will know what to expect. I have hunted some on my BH that cry exploit when I knock them down and they cant get up only to be made to look silly when I ask themif they used the KD recovery. One even asked me what that was.....

I'm not in favour of PvP being a requirement to unlock Jedi. Of course Jedi will get forced PvP if they get on the terms, but the key here is "IF" they get on the terms. A truly determined Jedi can avoid doing so quite well, I have.

I've never been on the terms and likely never will. My CL 5 Master Crafter / Master Artisan / Master WS / Master SW doesn't really do any combat save the occasional space battle. He does have Novice Healing and Defender though.

I'ma Jedi but never PvP, I tried it a few times when I first started galaxies, and imho it sucks. Why should I be forced to PvP? Just because you like doing something doesnt mean everyone does, leave the system as it is without trying to impose your ideologies on other people.

Bad idea IMO, what of people that play off hours? what of people that play casually and dont really have time to spend pvping? It is a time investment....on my servers, the times when i play (and im often Looking for PvP) there is seldom any to be found.....that would be like making it a requirement for BH to slice terminals for invest xp as oppose to an option in addition to other ways. What would he have to do if there werent any vulnerable bases during the times he played etc... also, im for moving the jedi more OUT of pvp......i plan to have a jedi, i have more then half the xp/unlocks needed.....but i should hope that there is somthing for me to do outside of regular pvp in theed when i get my character....to require the ones that dont care for it to do so would only increase the number of jedi currently pvping and that isnt a good thing imo....its hard enough/impossible to find a standard template pvp match with more the 1v1....
