I think the clarification that is needed is that A: YOU are the noob. Did you or did you not just ask a totally NOOB question that is discussed in the stickies at the top of this forum? Why, yes you did.
Now that this is taken care of, I think it's time for lunch.
Just what you need fat boy.

I got my sixth ladder filledboxyesterday. NowI am toldI have to wait for the oldgezzergeezeragain. Do igottahave to wait 24hrshours ornonot?BeingIgothave 2 hours until my 24hrhour mark hits from yesterday, and it'sI'tsnot really a problem for me either way butplease respond for other people to know the answer...I'm being so impatient I would rather post here and annoy everyone for these 2 hours instead of just waiting them out, not to mention I didn't read the stickies so I may have been able to save myself the trouble of being flamed, and alas answered my own questions without demonstrating my horrid lack of grammar.
On second thought, maybe rather than spending my time 'grinding' to Jedai I should be catching up on my goodly english so I can make something out of myself in this unforgiving world.
Ok, maybe I'm being too harsh on myself. Back to waiting for the old *gezzer*!

But getting back into the question..........
It's just like when the old man visited you the 1st time. You have to wait LEAST 24hours to 72 hours.

WOW! German16 has been registered since 4/23/2005. I wonder what his def of noob is?
And I wonder if the 4 and some months he has played has given him some it site of the game that makes him a vet. I hope it is with some other account he has finished the Jedi grind. I thought it would take around 4.5 months to do the 6 village phases. Not including the time making sure you had a template to grind jedi. and the day required to be glowie.
Truly we can learn much from the wonderous power player.
I am suprized he did not know the answer already. Maybe he his testing us?

Well the time is totaly random on my first old man on one toon it took a little less than 24 hours, on my latest (fifth fs toon) it took 60 hours, and that was loging in for at least 6 hours aday and doing the shuttle hop, so it's totaly random as I said. On another note to some of the others who responded rudely there is no call we should all try to get along if you can't play nice get lost and the rest of us would be better off.

lol.....after I filled my 6 trees, the old man came to me after 1 hour.
It's random just like the first visit.

In all fairness, the registration date doesn't necessarily relate to the time a player's been in the game; just how long he or she's been registered in the forums. My registration date is like June of 2005, but I've been playing since July of 2003. I just never bothered with the forums until this past June.

TrueDaywalker , Thus the reason I did put...
I hope it is with some other account he has finished the Jedi grind.
This is my second account ( my first being Guyvii, ya so original) So I thought of this, BUT.... I would expect one should use their first account( to up your posting numberor becausepeople know you as your older name) , or use your newer account because you are talking as this toon ( I would like to know I master pike is telling me about Pike PVP and not some master Dancer . Thus the reason for the footer with Professions).

People will register for the forums on one of two dates:
1) The date they create their Station account (that is, to log into the game) or
2) The first time they want to post.
Since he didn't post for more than three weeks after registering, that's a strong indication that he falls under category (1).
Regardless, there's NO evidence that he was playing the game prior to that, so it's a bad idea to call people "noobs" who can establish their status as long-term players.
