lol.. nooblet paddies will have like 600HP and be expected to kill quenkers and stuff?
and lets just make it so every jedi is on the terms.. reguardless of vis.. and that there is a nice search feature to organize the mess....
our only option as jedi will be to unite and fight has large groups and run like hell

I bet that "double mastery" that correspondent is referring to is for a double elite mastery.
Jedi are already advanced beyond that so I think all Jedi will automatically qualify for 3K HAM.
But Son needs to let us know this right away, so we can all grind to those double-mastery templates before CU.
Not the first time I heard this mentioned. I believe the BH or Commando correspondent once said something similiar... (that double mastery is required). Ofcourse, I dont know what will happen. We might get a respec to fix this anyway.

The term Jedi difficulty will now matter....
If anything the 1 point left guy will still be strong...
Not the Dabblers -- but if Jedi gets ANOTHER reroll then this will change Jedi all around I think.

This is a tough one. But I think you should get a 1k bonus at Padawan no matter what. Then a 1k bonus for the next mastery. The cap would still be 3k. This means that as a Padawan if you have an elite profession mastered you'd have the 3k hp. By the time you reach the point where you have to choose between the elite profession (for the 1k bonus) and your other non-jedi skills, you'd be far enough into jedi to be able to defend yourself.

oh and then once you'd mastered LS or whatever, you'd be at 3k hp again.

Son has basically verified what my original post said. Jemy is wrong.

Rember though New Padawans likely have a double melee mastery anyway, so they would already be at 3k Health when they start down the Jedi road.
As long as you gain health as fast as you lose it by picking up Jedi skills and dropping regular skills, then this is really a mute concern.

Seems like double mastery it is from now on.
Why? Thread states 2 elite combat masters will get 3k. A master healer or master enhancer is not an elite combat prof. The only people I see getting 3k are Defenders.
Trospar pointed this out to me so if he reads this I stole your argument.

Probably because 80% of the jedi out there now are geo cave/warren exploiters and made their way to knight in under a month.
Those of us who went through the saber tef/no use of non-jedi skills to help pre-pub 9 folks did the majority of hunting on the western edge of endor or way out on yavin somewhere or just plain out of sight.
Not to mention the 100's of Mrifleman who were wandering around on dathomir looking for tef's on jedi to use headshot3 on since they knew we would be there hunting rancors and what not.
The new grind isn't as hard as pre-pub 9 had it, but it will be tough indeed for the fact that 75% of the combat profs now seem to be bh.
I think they are mainly upset because they are trying to compare the grind now to the jedi who had it made after pub 9 with the squill cave/geo cave/warren bugged.
You are right, the jedi grind is supposed to be tough now and it will, but those who want to survive will just like us pre-pub 9 jedi did.

I don't think anyone is saying that it's not possible to advance rapidly during the respec.
The issue at hand is what will happen after the respec period.
