Best mission for C12 grenade grinding is Giant Baz Nitch on Dath. They have a 25% blast effectiveness rating, meaning your grenades do 125% damage to them. Plus the missions are easy to pull (11k). You're hard pressed to find something better than that. I have no experience using commando grenades, so I couldn't recommend what to do there.

the highest poison Ive ever had fighting the spiders is 60.. so dont even think about it
the spiders intimidation is though somewhat a pain.. but then you'll just need a few more nades
gaping spiders give 4180 +10% combat xp.. totalling about 4600 each spider (if you only use nades)
6xlairs = xp cap
