Doing mine now. Got 2 left and i've only had one bug on me which was on corellia. I don't think that bike thing affects it tbh seems i've been biking to them in cities and they're there when i arrive... At least it doesn't affect me

if you cant see the npc, do /tar (npc name), i had one standing 70 meters from where he should be

Well I'm on the 12th trial now and have had one (not including the LS trial) that was not bugged. I tried the swoop thing. I tried the target tactic. I've tried leaving the planet and coming back. Meditating at the shrine without restarting. waiting 20+ minutes. Nothing seems to work.
I have noticed though that after the the LS trial I'm having better luck finding the NPC the first time. Now they aredisappearing after I complete the mission which is pretty frustrating. I'll keep pushing on though. Not going to let bad dev coding stop me after grinding all that XP

Well I struggled up to the LS trial so I'm less pissed than before. But it really has been very frustrating having to repeat each trial. It was pretty frustraing taking the trial and the NPC is not there to give you the mission. But the most frustrating was the Baz Nitch trial where, twice, the NPC disappeared AFTER killing the 20 baz nitch. I was pretty angry after that one as you can imagine. Oh well, I'll get back at it tomorrow with Padawan in mind

Isn't it sad that we actually have to develop some rediculous way of getting around the bugs in this game. No swoops after 300m of the npc?What the F*ckis wrong with these guys developing this game? They really are the low budget, ITT Tech Grads of the Dev'ment world. Star Wars... being part of that is very cool to most of us. For a top dollar price to play this game, we deserve to play something that is worthy of the Star Wars title (especially after grinding FSXP for 18 weeks+). They should be ashamed of themselves and pay us monthly to endure their mistakes.

Highly resembles the old work around for bounty hunter investigation missions. Ground that out in the old system, so I don't know if their bug has been fixed, but it seems to me that it's the same type of bug.

I had my first trial bugged, got too ancy and drove right up to the Wp to finish and the NPC wasnt there. Remembered the Swoop dismount way before you get there tactic after that and have not had a bugged one since. On trial 10 now.

I am going through the same trouble, i think they take it a step too far on teaching you patience.

ahh man, I already went through this with BH... hope they fix it soon.
I went as many as 8 missions in a row bugged back when i was trying to learn BH about a year ago.
