Well you deleted your character. Yes you put some time in on th grind but deleting your character wasn't the best choice to take and now you pay the price for it. You know though don't quit look at it as the devs are making it harder for you to be jedi then it should be so prove them wrong. Make that damn jedi and use this as a lesson and inspiration. Perhaps your new character is a friend of the old one that got screwed and focus on completing what your friend has lost as he has died. It is your focus now to continue the fight that he started. I know that's roleplaying but they won't give you cred for your lost character so if you like the game you might as well use your problem if you still want to play to focus your new character. Just trying to give you some ideas.

i deleted my toon too because he was mon cal, and under the original system you unlocked the slot with one char and then became jedi with a new alt (which i had planned to be a zabrak from the beginning). they changed the system after i had done my 4 holos and 13 other professions. so i took a couple month break from the game, but left my subscription active. when i came back, i decided that i wanted a zab jedi so i had to delete my old toon in order to do this (which sucked). there was no info at the time about needing to grind 24 boxes of frs xp skills and that it would eventually take up to 18 weeks if you had no holo's to your credit (as was the case with my new zab). Im kinda disappointed about the lack of information sharing, but it was my decision. I shot myself in the foot, but either way at least i wont have a lame mon cal jedi keep your chin up bro... if you keep up the grind you and i will get jedi at the same time, roughly 4 months from now. LOL GOD WE'RE DUMB.

I find your lack of common sense disturbing. The Emperor is not pleased with your request.

Let the one star commence. Personally, I don't give a sh-t about the star ratings, so have fun.

Let's see you cancelled your account, then deleted your "toon" and started over fresh. Although you have the gaming experience down, your "toon" is now considered a n00b. Not the player, the "toon".

Sorry, it's fair. Too bad, so sad. I mean come on; you totally killed your "toon" and expect to be rewarded for a character wipe?? B-tch please!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been a loyal customer of Star Wars Galaxies since day 1. I kept the same character for the first year of the game, Mastering a total of 18 professions, 4 of holocron professions. In March, i cancelled my subscription to the game because i felt that there was a lack of content and the obtaining Jedi was too aggravating for me to achieve
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is not an example of a loyal customer; it is an example of an A.D.D. child that got bored. Sorry to here that SOE didn't customize the Jedi system around YOUR account. Be gone with thy-self, you belong here not.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In early July i re-subscribed to the game, to await the long anticipated new Jedi system.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Further proves my "child with A.D.D." comparison.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had no evidence that my progress would be erased for making a new character. Now, under the new system, i have to wait 6 cycles and 6 tiers before i can obtain the FSS when i should have at least 4 or 5 done because i did four required professions plus 14 more.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Umm, how old are you? If you erase the answer on your math test, is it still on the piece of paper? No. If you erase a cassette tape (before your time, back in the day data was stored on magnetic tape used in 8tracks (even older), VCR’s, and audio tapes etc.) is the music still there? No. If you erase your hard drive is the data there? No. (OK technically it is and I can recover it, although you may not). If you erase the chalk on the chalkboard is it still there? No. Honestly, did you think that erasing your character would load him up in a special reserved "We know you will always want to keep this resource" section? B-tch please. Stop paying for your games and buy an education. You are f-cking retarded and it shows.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I regret to say that if I am not compensated for the many hours i have input into the game, i will be forced to cancel my subscription once again.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You paid to play, you got to play, how do you figure that this requires compensation? I know you type, I see them everywhere. “The world OWES me everything because I am here". You are the type that stubs your toe on the sidewalk and then tries to sue the United States.

Please for the sake of the players, the developers, the Customer Service Reps, please, I implore you permanently delete your account, never return, and be gone you whiny a-- b-tch.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I feel that having to go through a grind a second time because I was uninformed is unacceptable.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Again with the "You OWE me because I am here thing". How do you figure you should be rewarded for stupidity? Ignorance is NOT bliss, and YOUR ignorance is not the fault of someone else. YOU and YOU alone are responsible for you own education.

As frustrating at it is to hear, SOE owes you nothing. A few points though:

Ignorance of the law/rules does not exclude you from the law/rules. The information was out and available well before publish 10 that there would be some manner of holocredit, and that it was the main character that would earn force sensitivity rather than gaining a new character slot. Deleting your character reset your chances on that character, which was within therules. As for your ignorance... you've clearly found your way to the forums long ago, and I assume you have some facility with using the web. You took the snooze, and now you have lost.

An earlier response suggests that you should send a ticket to a CSR, and I agree with that plan. So long as you make a request respectfully, and are mature enough to accept the consequences regardless of whether they are in accord with your wishes. You are in no position to make a demand, for you are in fact owed nothing. By that very token, you have nothing to lose by making the request.

On the positive side; your experiences previously will have taught you how to build a character again, and quickly. You can easily gain entry to the Village within a week, and start moving through the phases and quests. If you are not too choosy with your force sensitive skills, you can be a padawan within 6 phases including the current phase. As others have pointed out, the Jedi and attendant systems (BH, combat balance) aren't in yet so it is not currently an ideal time to be a Jedi. Patience and dilligence may yet reward you with the goal of your Jedi obtained in a more balanced, more fun environment than enjoyed by others currently.

Good luck to you which ever your path, excepting the path of making baseless demands.

I dont feel its necessary to waste more hours of my life...

If it's a waste, why are you back?

Sorry I hurt your feelings. Forgot that children are a bit more sensitive. You did something stupid and now you're paying for it. Welcome to the real world....

BTW You might note that just about everyone in this thread agrees. I justhave less tolerance for people that want someone else to fix their mistakes. That's behavior becoming of a 4th-grader. So, if you can't take the heat...

This does suck for you, but its the way the system works. I don't see why you think you should have credit from completeing professions from you old character apply to your new character.

However, it is completely fair. The system is working asit was intended.

So i deleted the character, and made a new one on the same server different species. The new Jedi system is supposed to convert all the credit you had under the old system. However this does not apply to me for ALL the credit I had obtained has been voided because I made a new character. I would have never changed it if i was more informed on how the system worked.
