Congrats to all who finished. To Dorahn. Try taking the shuttle away and come back by shuttle and wait a few minutes. Worked for me right away. Something about locking your position on the server

The old man i believe is linked to the original old man visit.
My theory is that as people "enter" the village, and meet the old man, it will cause the old man to visit those who "exit" the village after filling their 6th branch.
My actual in game wait time i think was approximately an hour.
But I had logged out in a player city on Lok, then when i logged in the next day, i took a shuttle to another player city, and within seconds of arriving, the old man came running up to me. Giving me a waypoint 1000m away from the player city i had previously been at.
So you don't really have to wait too long, just be patient and he will visit

Well.. I'm on Lok anyway because our guild city is there... and when I arrived there, I chatted a bit in guild chat and loged afterward.. Now I'm in the office and have to work.. But hopefully he will arrive this afternoon, when I come home. Ohterwise he surely will arrive on Friday, when I log in again.
thanks for the many cheer ups and I also have to thank all the players, which gave me help during the whole village part. Sometimes it was very burning out and sometimes I needed help with some quests. I never had problems to get it..
cheers

Ps. Soon a move to the jedi forum

The old man came last night around 11 pm last night...pretty much 24 hours after I finished the 6th tree.
Funny thing happened at that time though...2 old men actually came. The 1st old man and I started to chat and then another old man came running to try to talk to me.
I was praying that it wasn't bugged but all went well. I was able to get 2 people from Mining Outpost in Dantooine and the wp was only 500m away.
It took a while, as none of had medic, but we disposed of Mellichae and his goons.
I have to send out a big thanks to Kotets Oda and Owitche of HzO. Thanks guys!
Now off to the trials.
Good luck to all

As I explained above, I finished my 6th branch at about 1:15 EST yesterday. I came home last night around 7:30, and for two hours I shuttled around Tatooine trying to get the feisty old curmudgeon to visit me - no dice. I woke up this morning around 6:15 and thought I'd have another go at it before getting ready for work. Bingo - within 2 shuttle trips, he was running up to me. Then I got greedy. I thought to myself that I would test my hand at Mel solo. After 15 minutes of getting buffed/mind buffed, suited up in armor, equipping my toolbars with the proper food and spices, and powering up my T21, I set out to at least get the lay of the land. I figured that if I got destroyed, I'd try it again tonight with guild members. Surprisingly, it went pretty smoothly - until I saw that the server was resetting! After the countdown came on the scren, I knew I wouldn't be ale to finish Mel in time, so I just wanted to test strategies out. I finished all of the crystals, and the henchman - just leaving Daktar and Mel. I had led Mel about 100 m away from the camp on one crystal assault, and he seemed to stay there for the rest of the mission. I got in a few shots on Daktar when I needed to skate away before server shutdown.
Basically, I think it will take a while to whittle down Mel and Daktar, but I think I can solo it with this strategy (basically kiting them around the camp). I am going to give it another go at lunchtime.

congrats. However, personally, i'm not gonna leave this forum. It's nicer in here than it is in the Jedi forums. Too many flamers there for my liking.

Well, I successfully soloed Mellichae during my lunch break today. Took me 20 minutes, but he went down! Started my Paddy trials. Thanks to this forum for al of the helpful tips/tricks. I'll be relocating to the less-friendly Jedi forums
.
