Congrats for making it and deciding to keep the glow stick hidden from view and to stay in seclusion.

The grinding certainly isn't fun and it's good you intend to take steps to make it feel like less of a grind (if that's possible, LOL).

Good luck.

Thanks Praden. The fun for being is just knowing that my character is a Jedi. Now, if Sony can find a way to implement a Padawan-Jedi Knight relationship that does not create visibility. Just waiting on that to happen.

Thanks. I cansay that the grind, for those of us who are choosing to role play our Jedi, is over. Hopefully more people will do the same but of course it's their choice to do so.

Prome not to rain on the parade but would like to offer some kind of advice being i did the whole village and am half way to knight now so hopefully you will at least listen to my advice and not take it as a put down or parade raining.

I think it is awesome you are going to role play the jedi right away but my question is how are you going to do that without using force or your lightsaber? Do you mean as jedi initiate you are going to or as padawan? If you do it at Padawan right away just be prepared to get on the terms asap and your only move you will have with ls is poking with it and doing no damage heh. I can't wait to role play my jedi also but i learned the hard way that you need at least 0040 to get good xp in good time. If you get in the hole 200-400k and you aren't even really anywhere in sabers then getting out of that hole will be hell. I have known people to quit the game because they got so far in the hole they didn't want to waste time anymore. I have been on since day 1 of launch and only got the game originally for jedi and when i unlocked last Nov i was sooo stoked but once i finally got novice ls i realized i shouldn't role play him yet because i can't kill anyone and i have no moves and xp is hard and long to get untill you hit 0030 even.

Like i said i think that is awesome with your attitude on it and congrats again but i just wanted to at least give you some advice who felt the same as you and has been through all this. I know it's your toon and play as you want and I know you heard how hard the grind it so take it from someone who has/is still grinding. You worked hard for your jedi and getting in the hole is very easy to do because you want to show off your jedi and role play like one but once you get in the hole at a very low level it is very hard and unmotivating to get out of it. So just some friendly advice for you and others and I wish you the best my friend.

Thanks AxiomBOTD, I didn't take it the wrong way. What I meant about role playing was trying not to ever be seen in my Jedi Robe or using force powers in front of anyone or NPCs. I will go to the farthest end of any planet and begin to progress there. I don't look forward to being on the terminals at all. I will level in total seclusion like a jedi in this time frame should.

I don't know if you misunderstood my post or I misunderstood yours. Are you recommending that I grind to 0040 before I start roleplaying (my definition of rp)? or were you thinking that I was going to run around killing all in sight despite who was around? I appreciate the advice but I'm unclear on it. Please elaborate. Thanks alot my friend. I await your answer.

Ohhhh lol yes i totally misunderstood. I know a lot of people who say "Role play their jedi" they mean they act like a jedi and go around to heal or use their saber and gain visibility because they are not aware how hell the grind really is untill they really start grinding. I don't consider initiate to novice ls grinding heh. Like people will say "Oh i love the grind it is easy" then they say "Well i am only jedi initiate but i am having fun".

You are doing what I did and still do then heheh. I am totally sorry then for taking it the wrong way. Like when people say they are imp or reb and roleplay then they usually go kill all imps they see and treat them bad etc. like they would if it was real so i thought you were going to role play the jedi right away so i wanted to just give some advice before you did heh.

You are playing it very smart then. The reason i said if you wanted to show off or role play how i said at 0040 is best because you likely will only lose 100k to 150k and with 0040 it is easier to get back in about 2 hrs then it would be if you were 0020 ls heh.

Prometheus said that he was not going to be showing his saber around town becuase of course the BHs....but im wondering if that means we cant even hold them in our hands....if they are just in our hands, and not being used on something, will that still count as showing ourselves as a jedi??

You can have your saber in hand if it already is in hand. Just don't equip it in front of npc's/player chars. So if you just finish a mission and have your saber in hand you are fine unless you ignite it or if you decide to equip it in town.

Quick answer: Yes, they allow a Jedi to regenerate force power by using them.
