I think the devs learned thier lesson after the holo mess.
Doesn't everyone remember the 1 year thing?....we got friggin pictures and a "luxury liner" for playing a year.
Crap loot.
Wishing for and creating speculation that the devs will give us something cool only serves to piss people off when we get wookie life day balls or other useless loot.
The devs learned thier lesson with the holocrons, I for one will not be expecting any Jedi related Xmas stuff.
But I could see"life day"wreaths that we all hang on the front of our speeders or shipslike we do IRL with cars on Christmas.

People not grinding for Jedi? Well what did you do with a Holo - sold it for 300,000 - you can do the same with a crystal ...

The Emperor and Vader wearing Santa hats and beards and passing out candy. I'd love to see that. Thats better than anything they could possibly give us.

The one thingI have been wanting for over a year now is at the very least an email message the tells me my harvesters have shutdown just like the one you get with a factory.

Excellent idea. Nothing tangable but it fixes an issue without (hopefully) breaking something else.

i think the one thing that would totally rule is if we had some fun 'content' to balance out the mindless xp/credit grind. some mundane object plus a message to come to the newly fixed battlefields would be great. in my mind i imagine several different types, for close in fighting like a new village to battlefields that emphasize longer range combat. some of the funnest times i have had is trying to coordinate village defenses and fight off waves of thugs. xp sucked, but that didnt matter.
