Man is this frustrating ... you see him/her off in the distance, the mission is almost over, you walk up to the NPC, and just before you get to them ... poof, gone, adios

I've found a workaround for SOME of the disappearing NPC's but I'm not sure if it works on all quests. I used this technique when doing the kill 20 of XXXX type creatures quests, with the exception of the Baz Nitches(I can't get quests to spawn with the quest-giver on high-end planets). I found that the disappearing NPC bug occurred most often when I was required to shuttle to another planet after completing my requirement in order to speak to the NPC and complete the quest.
My workaround for this was to stay at the force shrine and cancel my current quest until the NPC was located on the same planet as the creatures I was required to kill. Naboo for the falumpasets and Talus for the sludge panthers. The reason I suggest doing this for these quests, is that they are the most time intensive of the trials and restarting them is the biggest pain of all the quests. There is one other quest that I was forced to restart several times before completing it....the old musician quest, but this workaround can't be used since you're forced to jump to 2 different planets in order to complete it.

Thanks for the info on traveling. I also got a sort of bugged quest to kill the Sharnaff Bull. He spawned inside a house and I could not get him to come out even after sending a pet after him ... got the trial again and this time it was ok. Lots of bugs but I'm still having fun
