Thread: advise to the FS grinder . . . especially the casual player
What?!? Enjoy the gameand have fun with friends instead of power grinding day after day? Sounds like crazy talk to me.

I'll get enough FS xp eventually, but I don't want to turn into a powergamer to get it. There is enough grinding AFTER the unlock for that.
Maybe if more people chilled out about being glowy then we'd have more balanced jedi, rather than those obsessed with xp whose gaming experience has just been reduced to killing Bols day after day.
It helps so much cap on pistols, rifles, and carbine
and if u have commanod cap in Heavy Weaposn too it helps me alot i got a skil in about20 min

hmm.. 5 x 6500 = 32,500 bols for me!

I think that's a worse way of looking at it 
Even at 30 bols per lair we're talking over 1,000 lairs... ouch

lol tell me about it . . . even if you say 20 bols per lair . . . thats still 333 bol lairs per branch . . . hmmm . . .8 people per group . . . 2 lair per person . . . that comes to about 20 hunting trips with 8 people per lair . . . each with 2 mission to grind out 1 branch . . . .when you look at it like that . . maybe its not that bad 
then again I could be trying to delude myself into thinking that I'm almost there whe I still have a long way to go hehe
Everyone needs to calculate it in a way that for them parcels the grind off into nice manageable ATTAINABLE chunks. If that means you calculate how many bols for the next box, or how many trips for the whole 6 branches, or how many crafted rifle barrels per trip. Set small goals and achieve those milestones, and soon they'll add up. For me, it helped that every day I updated a whiteboard with a percentage close to finish.
What's interesting (although probably not all that helpful here, sorry) is that now combat xp is 30:1,the FS grind is now officially longer than the Jedi grind. I did some math, and if you do all combat-related FS branches, you will need 203.2 millionweapons xp along with it's accompanying10% combat xp in order toconvert 7.45 million FS xp. A complete double mastery Jedi grind is 36,460,000 Jedi xp (if you never lose to a BH),andis gained at approx. one-fifth the rate of normal weapons xp, the equivalent of 182.3 million weapons xp.
The FS grind is 3800 bols longer that the Jedi grind. So, chin up. Finish FS and you're more than halfway there.
