I got no unlocks, in fact I started a new character on a different server just to become a Jedi since I didn't want my main to become one (RP thing), and I will complete the grind. It will take awhile, but I will get my lightsaber.

Yah, I know. Just throwing out my opinion on my situation. Everyone chooses their own path.

I liked reading "the ones who went through hologrind deserve it" Pretty funny as most that I saw were AFK'ers.. To I don't bother with sologroups or anything, I do goto Dant and slaughter quenkers occasionally, but mostly I try to make the most out of my "grind". Becuase, when it starts to feel like a grind, you start to lose interest. Good lord, try to enjoy the game. Remember, there is no END GAME here. If you aren't having fun, there really isn'ta point in playing/paying for a game is there?
Just my two cents

Who cares how many jedi there are. I for one don't, it is a game. Pretend that the Jedi are Jedi that had not been hunted down yet. Or that their father the Jedi went into hiding and then trained them. What difference does it make to you if someone else is a jedi? They are going to still play their alts. I personally want to take my alt and get every badge available. So while I will be having fun wielding my glowy stick thingy, I will still be playing my alt.

agree with this most people just want tot do it as they want the light sabre but i personally would like to get to knight as there are several of us in my guild who enjoy pvp and i would like to be a jedi in battle wielding a light sabre just because it looks uber kool but still my guild is forming a specific jedi squad for pvp but thats just my opinion

I'm one of those that will either not even finish the quests in the Village or take my sweet time.
I left the game for 8 months or more. The toon that I happened to become glowing on is Silencio on Tarquinas. I was actually pretty excited about it and waited for the old man and the sith ambush with great anticipation. After that I went immediately to the Village and was put into a state of shock. It was nothing like I had thought it would be
Thankfully the group of people that were there that night invited me to the group and got me started on my way.
Unfortuneately, it's not been that way since and everything I read says you WILL need help. I have a hard enough time getting buffs, and my stomach isn't big enough to take all the food items that would help. So, like I said, I'm content to either not do it at all or take it slowly and kill one outlaw/pirate a day if that's what it takes.
Personally, I'd rather just log on my dancer/tkm on Bria and enjoy the nice chat with my fellow live entertainers than deal with Tarquinas.
BTW, don't take this as a hit on Tarquinas server. I have met quite a few great people, since most that I knew a long time ago are gone. It just seems very lightly populated and near impossible to get any help on anything.

I say lets all prey for just a slight modification to the Jedi grind and have the force xp cut in half so it is a little easier to make Jedi. If I pay $15.00 a month, I should be able to do what I want and that is becoming a Jedi. I mean Dark Jedi....
