Thread: Thank you for this.
If you're of legal drinking age, an alcoholic beverage of some sort is required for grinding. If under legal drinking age... coffee...jolt cola or the like.

Out of sheer curiosity, what was your method for doing this?

He's gonna say grenades...
I tired the grenades method and I'll honestly say, from my perspective, that it is worthless. I am not a commando so perhaps it is diff for them but given the time invested in tossing 'nades at a lair, you could spend the same amount of time killign stuff with your given profession.
My method was to throw about 25 grenades at a lair and then finish it up with pistols. By the time I capped pistols, I had about 150k of combat XP netting approximately 80K of FS XP between pistols and combat XP. A normal session (no grenades) will net 60k FS XP. To me, I would rather keep my sanity and armor than have tht extra 20k FS XP.
My method? I'll call it the 'sanity' method. There are many, many POIs that are fun, gove lots of XP, and may have some rewards. I basically do a circuit...Mokk stronghold, kunga camps, jinda caves, korga caves, maruader stronghold, wollamander palace, blue leaf temple. I dont have actual numbers but I can pretty much cap with this circuit. There are lots of other funs diversion along that way that help out the grind...Yavin and Danotooine seem to have a lot of random stormtrooper spawns that spice things up a bit.
The best way to achieve the XP needed for the path to jedi is to play the game. Is throwing grenades at a lair if baz nitches truly playing the game?

Trajen2 - I'll be very disappointed if he claims he used grenades after specifically stating in his post that he didn't. I've got a pretty decent method right now that will cap out my unarmed XP in about 2 hrs (after I get buffed up and not counting time trying to find missions) but I'm always open to new ideas.

I have grinded two entire branches since the advent of the FS system. No, this by far is NOT quick but I run a large guild, PvP frequently, and help out with gathering resources for our various crafters. The only way I kept sane was to have diversions and actually 'play the game' while grinding. Another good 'side-effect' is that you learn about the game and become better at your given profession.inat
Great point here - I actually have had to step away for an evening and just "play" the game. Pounding on Stalker lairs for 2+ hours, travel to villiage, convert, travel back - repound....really just takes the enthusiasm out of the game sometimes. Decided to NS hunt one evening instead...didn't get as much XP, learned that even as a TKM there are limits to how much you can take on at a time, and had a blast doing it.
(Note to self - it is unwise to try to solo 2 spellweavers and if joined by a NS Elder - accept the fact that you will clone soon)

I try to avoid NS at all cost unless they are initiates or alone & not elders. Pistol-packers die quick gruesome deaths otherwise...

Everyday I see it on TV and read in newspapers, the talk about people playing games too much. And now when I became FS... you whant me to play 24/7 in how long? And I have the force inside me, but still I must do like 12 profession. Combat xp is so F slow and you guys know that, thats why you made it. "or seek out the ancient mysteries of the Jedi" is that what we are doing now? All this s.u.c.k.s and there is no point trying to become BH... they s.u.c.k so..
Thank you for this. And do not think you will fix the CB... Btw whats with the colors on my bike? Its down to only 200 again... thanks to this Wookie patch... or?
I'm happy? No I'm bored.
Leave the game? No.
You don't have to play 24/7, you can play as long as u want.
Once you complete the actual quest take ur time to get the xp it's not a race. Some people are rushing just because jedi is something different and a little harder to get is all.
/Agree. I'm just taking my time and seeing the sites. When I first started the Village stuff I was in a big rush and stressed about the Combat Upgrade. ( Some are saying it is going to get harder with the CU )I decided tojust enjoy the game. Go to Tatoonie and help the new people. I like to see their comments when they see me take out a creature with 1 blowof my Scythe.

I decided to not grind last night and do a little PvP.......got all buffed up, put on my 2mill armor, ate my best foods, and went to our friendly IMP neighbor where PvP is sure to occur. We watched in anticipation as IMPS straggled into their cantina for thier doc buffs and entertainer buffs. . . I had my mark targeted and watched as his HAM bars grew choosing my attack carefully...Mind Attack with my DoT geos or Health attack with fire, poison, and bleeds? As I contemplated the attack and made sure my group was ready, four red dots come onto the radar. I quickly tab to see who the new targets are and BAM!all 5 of us arecut down in1.5 mins by 6 dark jedi knights....
So much for diversions....
