AFAIK they're a prerequisite of Initiate.
So you can't surrender them once you're unlocked as they're necessary to have initiate in the first place.
That's my understanding anyway, could well be wrong so feel free to correct.
Don't think many will have tried this for fear of messing up their jedi

OK, lets start from the beginning...
Once you have trained all six of your force sensitive boxes, you do the exit quest, trials, blah blah blah. You reach padawan. Padawan isn't droppable, nor any of the force sensitive skills. There have been a few posts where people have actually trained a 7th force sensitive tree completely (one they actually wanted) and dropped one they didn't want. Its safe to say that you can never go below 24 boxes in force sensitive. Now, nothing requires that you go any further than padawan. Neither Jedi Initiate/Padawan require skill points, so the only thing that you may not want that you are required to keep are the force senstitive boxes. However: Should you die, you will lose Jedi XP. Not a problem if u never plan on going Jedi with that character. Bottom line: At this point, this character is a Jedi forever.
Your "unlocked" second character can be whatever you want it to be. Most people choose doctor of some type and do an LD buff (don't ask me, i don't do it.) You CAN make it a jedi, however you will still have to do the same things as before, get glowy, village, etc.
I hope this helps, I chose to make my second character something enjoyable to get my mind off the Jedi grind, because it truly is tough. Best of luck to all of you.

All i wanted was to open my ne slot, make a force sensitive crafter & turn my main back to BH.
Why not just make your alt a BH?
I mean think of the benifits:
Can redo all the theme parks
Can redo all the POI's
Can redo Faction ranks/loot
Can redo almost everything
Can do all the mini quests
Think of all the loot you can get with your 2nd alt.
Im going to use my 2nd alt to help create the museum i always wanted to have but always ended up selling my stuff lol.
And with the knowledge you have already it will be faster.

I think the confusion on this topic lies in the way hologrinding worked were your toon that did the hologrinding unlocked your jedi atleast to the best of my knowledge as i have several friends that have jedis with 0 badges but alts with al the required proffesion badges
i believe postpub 9 this is no longer possible
