Use of LS or any Force Powers can increase your visibility. Short of that, no one knows, except the dev's and they are not telling.

Strange thing has been happening lately, for the first few months i had jedi i never showed up on the BH terminals, now after being gone for two months and comming back i cant stay off them. I logged on a few times to lvl way out in the middle of no where solo and all the sudden i had a bunch of tells from trigger happy BH's. I then stopped logging on the Jedi and started playing around with my main i talked to a BH friend and my name is still on the mission terminals even though i havent been online in a week

Anyone else experiance this problem?

There have been 100's of posts about how vis is broken and no one knows how to get off the terms once you get on them.

Its been stated you can lower vis by sitting in apivate house doind something, but like I said, no one really knows.

Should only raise your visibility if the group member is within 32m.
