Thread: So who else is doing the grind WITHOUT grenades ?

hahaha I am not doing any grinding at all. Only the missions needed to unlock. And maxing out all my FS xp in one afternoon.Tumble that one around in your minds, young padawans.

i bristle everytime there is a bandwagon to jump on about things like this... nades nades nades... whatever what happened to individuality? i have placed no time restriction on myself... im getting most of my xp just at the tusken fort through rifles and buffing, and it doesnt feel like a grind at all, relax, take your time, drink beer, meet girls...

I'm grinding with a Master Bounty Hunter/Creature-Handler dabbler/Novice Medic. Nice thing with this profession is I can maxx out three different weapon types (pistols, carbines, and heavy weapons) for Combat Prowess or Enhanced Reflexes xp, plus Scout and Creature Handler for Heightened Senses/Healing xp. The Heavy Weapons xp seems to accumulate fastest, although I get slightly more xp per kill with a pistol or carbine.
What I am grinding depends on my mood and cash flow. If I want money to go with my XP, I'll grind thune missions on Dantooine or craggy bolmas or surefoot brackasets on Dathomir. All three creatures give 3-4k xp per kill, and are completely vulnerable to both electricity and acid damage. I'm leaning more toward the thunes these days, because they spawn one more creature per batch than the others. I typically pull down about 30,000 xp per thune lair. If money's not an issue, I'll wander into a place like the Blue Leaf Temple on Yavin-IV and start slaughtering dark klikniks. I'll occasionally hit the Temple of the Woolamander as well, and see if I can score a piece of Woolamander Harrower bone. (Fat chance....)

I personaly think throughing explosives at lairs of wierd rabid chiken things on dath. is a sad exuse for the path to becoming a jedi... so i just kill NSs instead

Let's see, I had no free unlocks (because I thought hologrinding was DUMB! I was a Master Rifleman for LIFE back then)...I've been grinding since Aurilia went live, have 5 unlocks (6th is this phase if I can find the right base) and I've been grinding with Teras Kasi Master and Master Fencer...I'm only a 3/3/0/3 Combat Prowess and 0/0/2/0 Enhanced Reflexes...I used to try for one box a week, but I've been a little busy lately...and I have two other characters... I grind in the Squill Cave (unbuffed), Rancor Valley (very buffed), and I used to do solo group Mokk and Janta missions, so I could make a million credits a night AND cap my xp...but alas, no more...

I grind pikeman. I convert at 900k weapons xp and 90k combat xp. Works out to 60k fs xp a trip.

No grenades for me, & hopefully I'll get an exit quest inside of 30 days. guess like in college I am trying squeeze 4 yrs in to 6. But it's all biscuits & gravy.

Btw as for what i grind:
-Hurton Stalkers
-Piket protectors (they spawn much more)
-Rancors (i fould a sweet little spot on Dathomir)
-Any type of Dantari (if i find them near my usual grinding posts)

Itry to avoid running missions to grind as the running back and forth to get them wastes precious buff time...i used to find a spot on Yavin or endor and just kill everything that spawned in that region

i just go out and grind i cap 2h xp about twice every buff session. but i got lazy and stopped grinding like this for now lol. you just basically go up to any lair and just area attack it and kill tehm off as fast as possible.
also if you find a lair with graping spiders they give really good xp. If you find one with 4-5 spiders at it i think it gives off like 50k xp. and 5k combat xp. it is nice.

Yup I am on the lazy 2h schedule as well. cap 1 time every 2 hr w/ swords. but since being speed capped I can't just blow through the lair (I have to throw in a pause 1.6; to my attack spam)... I kill it before they can heal it to let all of them spawn. I get 80k total XP from the baz nitch mission lairs. & about 50k sometimes a little more it might seem from wild lairs.
I think that trading in only after combat is capped is inefficient, So I trade in when sword XP caps. Rifle just takes too stinkin long & is wasteful on grind armor. I see it this way & tell me if I'm dillusional or not. This is w/o grenades obviously, if it takes 2hrs to cap weapons XP then it takes at least 6 hrs to cap combat XP 6hr trade in comes out to 130k FS XP, or 160k if you do 2 weaps. In the same 6 hrs I can cap swords 3x & get a total of 180k FS XP at trade in. I'm sure this is nothing new, but w/o grenades does this work out to be the fastest way? I am guessing yes.

I reckon I got possibly the worst FS grinding template with Master Smug/TKM/Pistols0444 (with no unlocks)
Basically grinding out unarmed and combat, and trying to do some pistols, but the length of time it takes to kill with the pistols it makes more sense to head to the village and convert and stick with unarmed xp.
I'm in no great hurry, well I am but with this temp I have no choice lol, and dont want to give it up atm as enjoy it to much. RL work doing to much interference atm to have a good sesh, and stand with 2 trees done and 4 unlocked.
Its too boring imo to just sit and find a grind spot and do that hour after hour day after day. I mean I have done it, but you need to take a break and enjoy the game in other ways.

Gridning with master swordsman and TKM. Normaly i just go to endor or something and kill everything i see.Can max out both during one buff session wich gives me around 120k fs xp per day. only 2 boxes left now
