Wow, something must be wrong with you.

I had 4 other people with me, 2 were Jedi's, one was a doc, adn ther other was like a marksman or something. We took out the thugs no problem, hell I took out 4 by myself. then we took out 1 crystal and tried the other but it was bugged, so we tried killing mel, i was the tank as a TKM, he took forever to take my heath down, he didn't even incap me, but since the crystal kept healing him, we couldn't kill him ,it was a stalemate, so i guess ig otta wait till they fix that bug.

I met the old man yesterday and he advised me to seek out Mellicae's camp. The first night I tried it alone and died 4 times before realizing I was worthless against Mellicae alone. I was able to kill any of the thugs and Mercs with no problem with my rifle. My friend Corssica tried to help and then the server shutdown for emergency maintenance. I logged in today and I took 2 Jedi Knights with me and we defeated Mellicae in less then 40 minutes.Mission complete.

This missionCAN be done with the new CU. Everyone should understand that its not the fact that you have a Jedi with you its how you use them and work together as a team. CU does blow for most professions but after what I saw happen today with these two Jedi's I know that CU will work fine for them and for some professions.

wow u guys are so lucky....i tried and tried and tried and i cnt kill mel...1 hit im dead .i am seriously thinkin to respec from swords to rifle..i think it will help me more

i already did this quest in cu and ill tell ya what works great, a master carbineer bh and some rifleman. carbineer sticks states while everyone else just hammers as hadr as they can with there t-21, just remember to destroy all the other guys off first and the crystals and when fighting mel everyone stay at max range and keep burstrun handy to maintain that distance. If you do this you should have no problem with him

I had the same idea about respec to rifleman. That way you can use conceal shot and take him down. However, I've got to clarify this with someone and I haven't gotten an answer yet. First of all, one of the green crystals seems to be bugged in that you can't destroy the crystal even after bringing down to zero. Do you have to keep dying until you pull a respawn of the mission that isn't bugged? Or am I missing something here. Is there an order to how you destroy these crystals? Secondly, Mel and the two red crystals constantly reheal themselves. Does this ever go away such as when are are able to destroy both of the green crystals first? If you can remove the auto heal that's on these things, I don't know why you couldn't use conceal shot and slowly tick away Mel's health.

Ok, I'm reading this other post and it looks like you have to do the following in this order?

1) Kill all thugs

2) Kill Mellichae's cohort, bloodmoon(?)

3) Take out green crystals

4) Take out red crystals

5) Kill Mellichae

Can someone confirm if this order is correct?
