That's an interesting approach. One we would have to discuss before hand cause if I have some low level people I recruited for the hunt, i may just have to keep puttin a doc heal on you so the beasts can finish the job while eveyone else stands back. lol

Seems not seem very nice. I go on groups and let the group know you are grinding Granades and if you can tag along. Because they will be doing all the fighting while you get all the real exp. I just have them pull one mob at a time and make sure the mob is at lease 40m away from anything before you granade it. A swarm of up to 10 level 82 bols can rock your world and your team. They may not be so hot to get incapped. also, get 3 incaps to fast and you are dead.

I like to do pull training for non 80 lvl people. The 80 lvl guys do not need exp but the lower level people do.

I would like to know I am helping the people helping me also. And if I caused a mass agro due to a bad toss, then I will tank for the people because I am a level 80 and can take it better them most of them ( it was my fault after all ).

Team work will help you alot now days. You should be a team player also.

IMHO.

I agree this strategy would work. But it is selfish as hell. I am doing it by HELPING the group by fighting with my weapons. If I was in a group and someone did that to get max XP while we do the hard work, I would have them thrown out the group. Tt's a totally selfish method and isn't what grouping is all about. You sure as hell arn't a team player.

That is one time I would agree to letting someone in my group that wanted to do nade grinding. everytime i have been out grinding and someone starts trhowing nades it just totally pissed me off because they for one never asked and two they did it in a piss poor way that wound up hurting the entire group in the long run. Hope more peeps read your post and do it that way. It makes more sense. A lot of times i take the "younger" guys from my guild out hunting with me and most always have to get some extra people to join us.

Excellent guide... okay not really... 8 hours a day?!? You must be out of school on summer break. You nade then get incpa. and then let the rest of the group do all the work? My lord, how long before they kick you from the group and how many groups do you go through?

This is what i say you should do:

1. get a lvl 80 hunting group

2. go to lok, tattooine, naboo, or dantooine

3. *work* and actually attack each enemy individually, i know its a lot of exercise clicking your mouse so many times, think of all the burned calories

4. CU took out the easy ways out of this....just get working and it will be less painful

Dunno where the Problem lies, in max 2 hours i can cap all my xps before I've to go to the village.
So at lvl 80 you have double combat master so 2x 1'200'000 Weapon XP there an 240'000 Combat XP for all other Weapon the XP cap at 300,000 Weapon XP and Combat XP normaly caps at 300'000XP (not for Boutny Hunter or Commando)
Ok let's do the math, I'll go to my cap of Combat XP that's 300'000 so I must use a 3 other types of weapon to max out. So in max 2 hours I get 3'000'000 Weapon XP and 300'000 Combat XP converted in FS XP that means 200'000.
Fillinf an entire tree needs 1'225'000 FS XP and the Noice box need 50'000 FS XP so when I go for the 4 Trees of Combat Prowless and the first 2 of Enhanced Reflex (what btw is very very common) then I need 4x 1'225'000 + 2x 50'000 = 5'000'000 FS XP
So summing up I need 5'000'000 FS XP / 200'000 FS XP = 25 so I've to max out my XPs 25 times for the whole grind and take my 50h of fighting time.
Yes sometimes it's boring but you will have the XP before the unlocks if you play min 6h per week.

I dont think people are trying to "earn" anything nemore. now they are just trying to FINNALY get jedi.

I max at 900k combat and in2 hours i can max it. so hmm cap on normal xp and get 40k per visit or cap combat xp and get 300k fs xp per visit your choice but if your smart you will pick 300k

thanks for that reply , puts the whole thing into perspective

Turning Star Wars Galaxies into a first person shooter is as bad an idea as turning it into a real time strategy game.. thanks for the toilet in the middle of the living room !

If you throw a nade and then do your normal combat prof attacks; i.e., continue to do your part in the group, does the nade combat xp get nulified?
