From what I have heard toons say is that they tend to get more credit rewards when in a group and the group gets missions...for instance...if i had luck 4 and you and me were in a group, you might pull missions with lets say 8k reward, and i will pull a mission that will reward for 9500, even if all the missions were cl 80...plus i would get a better chance to get better loots then you...

I've seen everything to refute this. If two people take the same CL mission the exact same distance apart (say, 1k away from terminal) the payout with be the exactly the same, regardless of direction. Sure, the mission will move on you, but it's the initial starting point that matters.

It only increses the amount of credits dropped. It's another cruel joke by the Devs. Credits only drop on NPCs, Jedi gain visilbility from killing NPCs, therefore any smart padawan is never going to use this ability.

You should get an unlock message the instant you find the last resource, no matter where you are. I was doing some surveying on Tatooine, and when I hit the last one, I got the unlock message, the inorganic survey tool appeared in my inventory, and that was that.

Went back to the Village, confirmed the line was open with Paemos, and Noldan trained me in it (had a ton of senses XP from scout and CH built up ahead of time) immediately.

I do seem to get higher credit drops from NPCs lately. Who can say with the loot drops, I did get a couple of very nice CAs off sith outlaws/pirates during the phase four mission, and I seem to get crittters to give up their specials just after the first rollover often. I've also had pretty good luck with taming and findind specials. Whether the luck line has anything to do with this or not, who can say?

did you just do this? because its in phase 3 from dageerin i think.

as for as padawans never using luck that may be, but not everyone who goes to the village is going for jedi. some are crafters that just want the extra points for experimentation and such.

luck is something no one can explain. it wouldnt surprise me if eventually it turns out to be a good branch to have.

from what i hear the crafting doesnt help you as a jedi either. not a whole lot of them actually help you once you hit jedi .

Well I unlocked Jedi on my crafter who has 4404 FS Crafting. I picked up my resources and made a saber. Now keep in mind I have no bonuses to assembley since I have no real saber skills, when I build my first saber I got an amazing success, I played around building several test sabers with this toon and my actual jedi and my crafter/Jedi. Even though my Main Jedi had MLS, I got more amazing success on average with the crafter toon.

I know a good bit about crafting and the assembly bonuses you lack w/o 0004 sabers makes a huge differnece. So yes I would say that that Force Crafting works for sabers as well. Just most Jedi didn't take that line, and if they did they ususally have limited crafting experience (not all but most)

i thought there was a separate skill called lightsaber crafting or something and thats what it went off of. i may be wrong

There is. can't remember what the name of skill is specificly, but in the techniques tree of Lightsaber Skill tree, you get exp bonus and assembly bonus to making sabers (same with every other crafting profession). The bonuses you get from the FS tree apply to all crafting skills, it's a generic bonus, simular to what you get from being in a Manufacturing Center or Research Center, or from using the crafting foods. It enhaces the success rate.
