The easiest way to to beat the sith shadows is to know how to play the game first, and not try to become a jedi as soon as you get the game. Seeing these CL 75-80 people that cannot take on the initial 2 sith makes me sick they should make it so that if you lose your crystal in the first attack you should have to wait a week before the old man will visit again. Join a guild make friends and have fun with the game, and all of the content will become alot easier and more fun.

/agree. Its to easy for new players to get jedi. and I say that being one of them. After coming back to the game I am on my way to jedi again (sold my last jedi) and with a new account I will have a jedi again by september. Should take long IMO.

Level 80 I'm sure is fine for those opting to go all-out combat. What about those opting to go into the trades? Anyone wishing to become a droid engineer, weaponsmith, armorsmith, chef, etc can't reach a CL of 80. Whats your advice for them? Give it up? What if everyone took your advice? Where would you buy your armor? Where would you get your weapon? Vasarian Brandy, who's gonna make that? Start looking at theworld around youand stop looking at the mirror.

did you miss steps 1-7? you know where you INVITE YOUR COMBAT FRIENDS?
stop trying to make the game easy for everyone because they don't want to have to do combat, if you don't want to do combat then think of a way to get around these things because its not tough

Exactly. I'm CL 56, and I have yet to have a problem since the CU (except fot that first weekafter launchwhen the sith thugs were bugged and at CL 121, where a group of 8 of us, mostly CL 80, got wiped). Just so everyone is clear, no matter what CL you are, if you group with anyone, you take on the highest CL in the group ie: if you group with a CL 80, you effectively become CL 80. During this current phase, I took the vehicule control quest, and didn't even need to group with anyone, it's just driving. For those missions that do require combat, I either ask friends if they can help, or if I can't find anyone, I ask people at the village. Alot of fellow FSers are willing to help out. Phase 3 will be my last unlock, and it's fitting that it's the Melee Accuracy quest, as that's probably one of the hardest FS quests, and I already have many people, almost all CL 80, a couple are now full temp jedi's (grinding FS with jedi grinders is a good way to meet friends who will help). Instead of complaining on the forums that you are too low in CL to take on anything anymore, go out and meet people, make friends, and then group up and help each other out on stuff

"Hi. What's that? oh. Your a sith shadow here to kill me for my force crystal? Well, okay i guess i can understand that. Hey, do me a favor and wait around for about fifteen minutes before my combat oriented friends get here so they can help me kill you."
i can understand why some of your crafters might be a little upset but you really should be a CL80 if your going to become a jedi. Jedi are a combat class. I don't think ive ever heard any great stories about jedi chefs or anything like that from the films, from my understanding they were all warriors and defenders. its hard to defend a republic with a casserole and an uber master weaponsmith weapon that you can't even equip yourself.
You're going to have to give up all your skills anyway as im understanding it so why wouldn't you go into this whole thing with all the combat prowess at your disposal. you are going to have to be fending off BHs at some point too, ya know. Are you going to tell them they aren't allowed to kill you because your a weaponsmith?

I'll show you how in a few easy steps:Step 1) /tell hey man, whats goin on? can you group with me to kill some sith shadows?/reply from sure, I'll brt, and I'll bring for some extra helpStep 2) /targetStep 3) /inviteStep 4) /targeStep 5) /inviteStep 6) wait for the Sith Shadows to comeStep 7) easily kill the Sith Shadows with your friendsOPTIONAL: go to a doc and get buffed, eat spices and some food, get a drink (vasarian brandy works great, solo'ed everything in the village so far just using vasarian brandy and /powerboost)SUGGESTED: be CL 80 so you can actually do things on your own instead of whining that everything should be brought down easier because you can't get a groupwell GL with the Sith Shadows, this plan should work perfectly
Running away works great
oh wait you meant "The ultimate solution to killing the Sith without getting incapped and DB'ed"

Some crafters just want the FS Crafting trees of the Village and do not want to be jedi at all
