Thread: A strange loot...?

Well, that doesn't do me any good, you have to pay to bea member, and I'm not paying anything just to verify if this is true. Every place else I've looked at says that they do nothing, except give off light when they are used as a decoration. Could someone who has actually done this in game post here and verify that they can be combined to make a saber crystal?

I think the post from Hydro right after my last post gave it away. He's screwing with Rubicks, plainand simple. So yeah, kinda screwed that he's giving off false info to people with actual questions, but I'm assuming they know each other and Rubicks knows better.

Frustrated? Not really sure what you mean...I am anything but frustrated. Just curious what orb was for....if anything but decoration. But it's good for that...doesn't really give off light though.

You need a mystical Glowing orb for it to glow. You can get one from valarian's "theme park". It looks kind of cool, especially when you drop more plain crystals on top of it so it shifts color depending on where you look at it from.

It starts in one of the big rooms of the lucky despot. The NPC to start the quests with is Kavas. You do lots of random missions for rewards, and one reward is the mystical glowing orb. I think there's also a petrified avian egg that looks like a crystal, but i don't remember.

Hmmm...I did Jabba's themepark way back in February or March.....never got the avian egg. That's ok, though, it's also just decoration, so I don't really care that I didn't get it. Also, make sure you have positive Val faction before doing the quest, as if you did Jabba's Themepark, you're probably in the negative faction for Val.

Ahhh, good point...didnt think about faction standing. Also, dont worry about egg, you dont get to keep it anyway, its something you pick up and have to deliver back to the chef.

Lol, of course you can keep the egg. I have about 4 of them sitting inside my house. All you do is do the part of the mission up to where you get the egg, then delete the mission in your detapad, and then you can just get the mission again and repeat. As for combining 2 of the mystical orbs to make one crystal, i declare BS on that. I've been playing for 2 years and I've never heard of anyone doing something like that.

Don't you get the twin force crystal cluster by combining two of those mystical orbs?
