I'm definitely a casual player. I get anywhere from 5-8 hours a week. If I get some time off work (like the holidays) or squeeze in a Saturday, I can get a bit more.
I'm about 3 months away from finishing this grind, if I work really hard.

Dont jump on this bandwagon if you are a gimp with all the time in the world to play this game, ie, your unemployed.
Define 'Casual Player'...
You seem to imply that if you have a full time job that there isn't any way to be productive in the game.
I work 40+ hours a week (Salary), which can include travling all over the world (This year aloneI traveled for 4 months solid spent time in Canada, a few different states and India). I'm married (No kids yet, but they will be on the way soon) 5 pets, two cars.
I play anywhere from 4-6 hours a day during the week and have been known to plop myself infront of the computer at 8am Saturday morning and not move until after midnight, of course this all depends on if I have anything in RL to do.

I agree, what is a casual player? I have a full time job and I am married with my first child on the way. My wife absolutely hates computer games so she gives me looks all the time.I consider mysef a casual gamer (shedoes not) playing 12 to 18 hoursper week. I have been playing that amount lately due to getting close to finishing the village. Its nice to have goals.

Casual player
1-2 hours a night... master doc and I'm rarely on long enough to even see my buffs fade
On the weekends, I do try to put in 5-8 hours, but that doesnt usually happen.

bjornsson, i think i didnt explain what a casual player means, it means, you dont have the time to sit at your PC 24/7 constantly playing this for like 13+ hours a day 7 days a week.
i want to see how many players are suffering for the amount of time needed to grind the vast quantities of XP needed for this grind.
i hear all of you, and suffer the same problem.
Study every day with the odd expection, monday, friday and saturday night where i can get online for 3 hours each. One buff session, so 3 in whole week.
makes getting this grind very hard. especiialy when i still have to master pistoller. LMAO
too busy in RL. think the whole point of this thread is to show the DEVS that their is a lot of "casual" players out there that can not commit 24/7 to grinding, our time needs to be constructive.
the path to jedi should be long and difficult. but tedious? no... thats a different kettle of fish. why cant we have two ways of becoming jedi? grind and quest based. the devs can give us 50+ missions if they like, but give us players a break SOE. our money is as important as the player that plays full time.

humm ... almost all the answers doesnt seem to apply to casual gaming ... 20 hours a week ? llke an half time job ? thats what youcall casual gaming ?!!! for those "casual gamers" that are stuck with fs grind , I can tell you from experience that 2 hours a day with careful planning and nades using is more than enough to fill the 24 boxes in 15 weeks ..
I d call casual gaming no more than 10 hours a week and thats already a long time compared to everything else you could do during your free time ...
