Since the original poster feels perhaps the vehicle ride is too long, I think they should remove player vehicles and give us all coconuts....

This way the people that didn't play/don't remember what it was like without vehicles can gain a healthy respect for what they have already.

I think a shuttleport at The Village would obviously detract from it's setting. As others mentioned, the Force users of Aurelia are trying to remain hidden from Vader and the Empire, but willing to take in Force Sensitives and train them in the ways of The Force. The journey to The Village (as well as the occasional Nightsister-destroyed speeder) is one part of the quest to become a Jedi.

Nope cuz then the place would be flocked with nuubs shouting how do i become jedi and blah blah blah and its supposed to be closed off and far from civilization as it being a secret. If we had shuttle then everybody and there brother would be there....

I like it the way it is now alltho the ride is somewhat long and boring. I would rather have them fix the dathomir trees. I always get stuck in them lol.

Here's a thought...how about a shuttle port, say, 4000 m outside of the outpost.

why not some kid of starport, that you can only reach with a private vessel ? (like emperor's retreat or Jabba's palace)

Because now you're talking about not only building a shuttle/starport in the village**, but then having them build another one in some remote location of the planet...
