Thread: Time consuming: how long?

It took me a couple of weeks, but then again I wasn't concentrating all my effort on getting glowy. I was taking my time and exploring the game, something that I wish alot of people would do, as it would save alot of time and forum space from needless questions that could be answered simply by either a). reading the stickies or b). exploring and finding the answer for yourself in game. Most everything I learned myself, as you can see the first time I even registered on the forums was in May, I was well into the village by then.

2 weeks for me, did most badges right away, all but 2 content. Decided to do the Warren. Got my last 2 there for a total of 2 weeks.

if what I read is true you could probibly do it in all in 1 long day.


Nym's Themepark 1-2 hours

Rebel Themepak 3-4 hours

Jabba's Themepark 2-3 hours

Starter Quest (instead of Warren) 1 hour

POIs 1-3 hours

Profession (already done I hope, if not) 3-6 hours


so 19 hours tops is my guess.


I havn't done some of these in a while so I'm not 100% on this.


I'm also not 100% that the 2 Functioning Starter Quest badges work.

If they do work then when they get all 4 Starter Quest badges working you'd only need to do the 1 starter quest and 1 themepark along with the POIs and a profession to become glowy. That'd take about 4 hours without the profession.

Hmm I already had Elite Mastery and lots of badges when Hologrind came out..tried during hologrind but gave up didnt want to loose template I had. SO when Village came And I kinda had Idea of how to begin I already had jabbas from being Bounty Hunter so Really when I started trying first day I did warren and nym and finished getting other hard badges Exar kun temple and Jedi temple. By hard I mean out of the way places. then next day I did Imp them park. and BAMO glowy...


So I would say for this toon months since I had been really starting from begining of game play on glowy path and really never new it.. But recently (well 8 or 9 months ago) I started another charecter on Valcyn and decied to not get any badges to stay completly clean. But when I finally decided to go for glowey it only took me 2 days.


I did all badges needed and waren / nym in 1 day. Really didnt take that long and was a weekend day Then next day I finshed jabbas and imp them park and GOT IT.. I really just followed what my other guy had done on other server but in a much quicker timeframe. Now Im waiting 3 months to complete Village since I have that much phase time left..


SO final answer 2 days or 1 days and some change....

And waiting to loot the magic ruby red slippers to take me home. Meanwhile playing KidTendo intill something better comes along...Maybe another Tornado Ya thats it....Sheeeshhh

Oh should say that on second charecter during time I was not getting any badges I had worked my way up to 4-4-4-4 TK so realy I had only small non elite badges then grabbed TKM and then started my 2 day spree..

2 years.


You see, I started doing the rebel themepark a long time ago, but it was broken so I waited to finish it until I knew I would actually get a badge for completing it. (Badge system was busted back then.) Only problem is they released the holocron grind, and then I quit.


A year later I logged in, finished up the rebel themepark, Did Jabba's, and Nym's and did the Warren (Warren was broke when I quit too. only 1 group at a time was allowed in because the keymaster dude had a habit of despawning or spawning inside of the terrain. heh.)


So, anyway, took about105 1/2 weeks to become F.S. The datapad that I was supposed to loot from the sith was also broken, heh, so there was an extra wait for that too.


That's for F.S. then of course, there's the wait for the village. And there will probably be delays with that too, since it's also, very broken.

Its so easy to become FS that a total noob can be FS withing a month of joining the game. Is there any wonder why there are more Jedi than dancers in game right now?

maybe 4 days... but i had already mastered CH, rifle, BH, swords and marksman.... at different times obviously....


did a themepark day 1 imp as well as all the POI's and a sith holocron miniquest (ending with an unamed jedi padawan), did jabba's and nym's day 2.... day 3 did letter quest at warren and got glowy.... never did any beginner quest... the only other badge i think may have hellped was the etayy hunting grounds quest (kill 6 creatures with names) ... but i'm unsure...

took me like a week, i have 2 accounts didnt bother with my first account then i got my second and within a week i was glowy and the oldman had visited me

Took a few days. Maybe 3 or 4 after getting a profession master, which doesn't need to be an elite one. The poi's, themeparks, and warrens are all soloable at 80 so it's not too difficult to get what you need once you have level 80.

about 2 weeks, anyone can become force sensitive, bein fs isnt becomin jedi..


u think there are more jedi, there arnt, they are just much more visable now because that have to group thats it..


before cu the jedi could grind alone as it should be, they were tough and could take on most things, vis was given if u were close to anyone so they stayed away from anyone or any large areas of population.


now jedi are forced to come into town, they are forced to fight alongside n00bs and elite as equals.. they arnt more of em, they just been screwed by the devs more than you wil even know
