Any Valarian npcs. I can't recall whether or not you can pull missions from the terminals for valarian bases, but it might be worth a shot.

ok, a couple of things:
the start point for nyms themepark is in the main room of nyms palace. to get to nyms palace, fly to lok (can only go to nyms stronghold) and head through the city with the overhead map on. at the very back there is a large circular wall with 2 staicases at the city side of it. you need to go down them and you will come to a big building. go in there and nym and 2 of his goons are there. et voila, away you go
as someone said previously, if you cant gain access to jabbas palace, it is because you have a negative jabba faction standing. to gain entrance you must have a positive faction standing. killing valarians will get you in. the fastest way to get jabba points is to find a static spawn of valrians and slaughter them until you have enough points. the best place to find these static spawns is mos espa (i think!! if not, then its mos entha. cant remember which one

has anyone done this recently. I'm doing kole's poison gas mission and the cave is completely empty. no npc's or gas to collect.

NM it is in a different spot then the guide said it was. That guide is horribly outdated.

not done it recently, but when i did it there were no NPCs either. if you follow the cave right to the bottom there is some kind of filter thing, just run up to it and you automatically get the gas without any warning. i think you get an on screen message or something, but unless you are paying attention you may have missed it. check your system log (or journal, either will do) and see what it says.
also, just thought i'd tell you, you only actually need to do the mission for nym. get the 2 things he wants and click and drag them onto him and you will get the badge. you can find what he wants in the guides elsewhere on these forums. just search for nym guide and it will tell you
