All of your excuses are $hite, and heres why: First, Yes, I'm doing the Jedi grind as well,so this is from a contemporary.
Lets just say theres somone who doesnt get to play this game but an hour at MOST everyday.Lets say it takes them quite a while to master...oh...lets just say BH, as we know the investigation tree is notorious for being hard. And lets say their as proud when finaly getting MBHas we are of getting Jedi. But look! On the test server somone can go get THAT skill w/out all the work that our friend who can only play an hour at MOST every day put into it. But I dont hear you people comming to HIS defense. Its really hypocrisy. Your complaining that YOU did alot of work to get somthing and somone else shouldnt get it for no work, but you dont CARE if that very thing happens to somone else. It doesnt MATTER if its the Jedi profession we're talking about. Its the PRINCIPAL of the thing. Dont take arms against something when itaffects you,but completly ignore it when it affects your fellow.
Bottom line: The TEST server is for TESTING the REAL servers out! It isnt a REAL server, as it can be wiped at ANY time of all the info and your character DELETED.

That is your debate?? LOL please. Test Center is still a SERVER. Oh sorry didn't know they had to do free hand outs to you because you can't put in the time. Also there is nothing you need to do special to unlock all other professions. You can use your rifle for combat xp and fill it up in tka if you wanted. You don't have to do quests, certain badges, trials, grind 10 times harder to get a tkm, bhm, etc. Jedi wasn't made as an open profession for all. Why should TC let you do that? They already have and likely will do again WHEN they need to test something big for jedi's. So you say just because people don't want to grind or put in time that they should be allowed then to have this special profession just given to them for that?
So what you are also saying is ok let's turn Test Center into all jedi server. Because that is how it will become. If you say no it won't then you are gravely wrong. All you will see is jedi. How can they test other professions when no one will use them. And don't say, "Oh i will and i am sure many others will too" because that is total bs. Everyone on TC who doesn't have a jedi will be jedi and then things like this latest patch would never get to be tested because everyone is jedi.
So you say i am complaining because i did work to get mine yet someone else doesn';t have and get to use jedi? Well you seem to be complaining that people who don't have time to play should get this chance. Same thing. By the way it's called debating. Instead of thinking everything is complaining you should take a course on debating because that is how debates work. I gave my opinion on an issue and how i felt. If they made it so test center will let all be jedi so be it, complaining would be "God i hate this game because they get to let them do this and that blah blah blah".

Unfortunatly, that is both a hypocritical and selfish attitude. As I already said, its not about Jedi, its about the principal. It might be easy to you to get the 'normal' proffessions, but it might not be easy to somone who can play very little every day. Keep trying to justify it to yourself, but even an essay long response will boil down to the above sentence in quotation.

How is what I said hypocritical? You obviouslly do not know what the word means because I don't see how i was being hypocritical. Did i say no they can't get jedi handed to them on test center but for me i would like it then and would be ok? No i didn't. That is called hypocritical. Actually a normal profession compared to getting jedi yes is a lot easier to get no matter if you play 1 time a week or 20 hrs a day. To get 100k xp for lets say tkm will take a jedi wayyy longer. Someone who only plays 1 hr can get a box or 2 easily but for jedi to get just 1 box takes hours upon hrs. Just like you said, You can justify it all you want too. I don't think jedi should just be handed to people espeically on test center when the hole point of test center is to try out the new things to go live. Will be hard to test out the double buffs the ents give if everyone was running around with a saber. And being shelfish is someone who thinks no one else should unlock jedi whereas I think everyone who wants to unlock should and I give props to them.
So you can disagree with me all you want and try and use words on me that you have no clue what the meaning is but the fact remains how i feel about the discussed topic and if people agree with me fine if not fine. You have given no valid arguments in anything. The only thing you have said is because it is too time consuming for a lot of people to get.

Actually you stil lare incorrect. You still have yet to show me how i was being hypocritical. Can you please show me where i said that I care nothing for those who are proud of where they are at in the game? I honestly don't recall saying anything to that nature. I said no jedi shouldn't be handed out like hotcakes because jedi is the only profession you really need to dedicate time, effort, and is the only profession you can't just get like TKM or Smuggler or anything like that. It is like the "secret" profession if you will. But yet because I say it shouldn't be just given to anyone who wants it on test center makes my statment hypocritical? Hmmmm don;t think so sorry. To me it sounds like you are reaching way to deep to try and using that word. I think everyone should be proud of where they are at in the game. So you say someone who just buys the game today can just be handed a jedi? Nice. So as long as people can get their free jedi's it is fine to mess up the Test Center then and not really use what it is meant for? Like i said before they did give out free jedi's because they had to test the whole jedi revamp along with server stability so they said here you go have fun. Totally cool and fine but when they need to test out things like they did with now music and dance buff you can get at the same time or things like that, how are they all going to get tested then when everyone will be jedi?
If SOE ONLY gave out limited jedi to those unlocking (for regular servers) and said ok no more will ever get jedi then yes i can totally see them doing that for test center. But you can continue to keep reading way to deep into my comments like you have been doing and call me a hypocrite for no reason etc. I personaly could care less. So if you can please show me where i said that I am more proud then others because I honestly don't see where I said that. So if you can try not to read too deep into things. It reminds me of like just a simple movie you know everyone likes it YAY it was fun then you would be that person that goes sooo deep into it that you make it out to be something totally different. Just relax some.
Anyways I am off work now and likely won't see this thread again as i won't be able to read it till late tomorrow and will probably be bumped to the next page or 2 so it was a good debate and have a good night.

First, note what I underlined. So, according to what you just said(Which I'm SUREyou wont take back after I say this), you agree that you shouldnt be able to get ANY profession on the test center w/out the work that it should take to get it, correct?
everyone knows this would be a blast and tons of ppl would play, thats why they say no.

Now, the attitude in the comment was the whole reason for that post of mine. Don't you think, had I been the '1 star bandit', I would have 1 starred the post containing that comment above all others?
