First off I am bugged as well.
Secondly thinking they are doing this on purpose to make there be less Jedi is stupid. You could simply unlock one of the other lines and get Jedi. (if you wanted to grind the XP)
So therefor it is obviouse that this is just a bug.
Also they have stated that they are looking into the problem. So relax and wait a few more days, I am sure they will fix it.
Selective reading is becoming a big problem. Even though most of you seem to believe it the developers are not out to get you. Geesh

With that said, I only wish the rest of you who have just started to receive the shaft, the best of luck, cause the shaft isnt going away, it will be given to you over and over and over again, until you change games and cancelyour SOE accounts. I was a HUGE fan of this game for along time, just sucks that my intrests in Star Wars as a whole have been ruined by a mismanaged development team.

So you haev invested 1600+ hours into a game and because something is not fixed int he first week for a 3 week ccyle you are cancelling all your accounts.

They have stated they are looking into the problem, why cant you believe that? You say you are met by silence. Do you not read the Forums wherethey mention they know it is a bug and they are fixing it?
Did you fill out a ticket ingame and get a respornse saying they are going to fix it?
You are flying off the handle due to the fact that you may have to way a week or more.
This quest takes part of 1 day to finish. if they fix it on the last day of the phase you can still unlock the phase.
Geesh people you act as if your first born child has been stolen from you.

It was added to the top of the Inlive discusion for last weekend.
and your second point. "that its a known bug and there is nothing they can do atm" ATM does not mean Automatic Teller Machine.
it means At this moment. as in not right now but sometime in the future. Impatience at its finest. calm down it will be fixed soon.
