Yep its the hardest. I found it to be impossible and I had a veryhigh level player helping me. Phase 4 is way easier than 3. Just hangout in the village and everyone can help each other. Right now I am thinking about changing what I unlock at the village because of this.

You guys say you are running this quest multiple times, im guessing its so you can get extra mind buff crystals, can you get another crystal for doing this quest over?

well, i have 4 characters on 2 accounts

so it's not the same characters doing the mission repeatedly. and yes, it's very nice to have an instant dancer buff in your pocket

For the most boring i'd say ranged accuracy FTW! seriously, looping 10 times around the village is boring as hell.

The Phase III quest was extremely painful. Didn't complete it last phase III and deciding whether or not to go for it on this upcoming Phase III. Good thing they give me weeks and weeks to dwell on it....hehe

Its not hard once you know what you're doing, but the phase 4 quest is the most annoying, and is the most difficult, whether your doing it or not, and I have done it several times too.You enter the village when not many people are about, and you can easily die. I got trapped in there, in one of the huts, and surrounded by loads of sith all aggroed on me. I was fully buffed and had armor on, did a burst run out of the village, but still died! At least one good thing from that was, it was a quick way back to the starport! If you are doing it, it is so easy to lose concentration, as you end up feeling safe taking out a couple of sith, no bother, then another one or two more sith spawn, and they target you, using specials, and hit you hard, and die. The other thing with Phase 4 is that, you sit patiently for the sith to attack the village, for about 30 mins, then for a split second you take your eyes away from the screen, and you end up being attacked on, and before you know it, your dead!

Phase 3 is easy once you know how, but Phase 4 quest, I can never get used too!

You're out of time, SOE The whole 2.5 months shouldn't have been. The game was fine up until Nov 15th. If the CU was worked on, instead of devoting time to the NGE (including the many months prior to November), the game could possibly be totally bug free by now.

My account cancels on 2nd Feb, which was a waste as only played game for 1 day to get the life day gifts, will be resubbing when creature handler, Bio-engineer, scout, and ranger return, oh and the FS village.

One of the things I like about the village raid quest is that you really get to show off your characters PvE combat ability. Alot of people were amazed by the fact my pistoleer was able to solo thugs. Of course I have a sweet DE-10 and am stacked with fencer defences but Im still just a master pistoleer.

Would you guys agree that the 3rd phase enemy Commander capture and escort mission is the hardest fs mission and one of the hardest game missions?

Yes!! That thing is sadistically hard!! Even worse how he commits suicide if you don't get it fast enough.

First time I did it, he killed himself 500m from the village. Second time it was 50m away

After that I just gave up... If I ever do complete the mission, I'm killing the commander after Sanguillo has his way with him!

It was very hard. Some people said they did it solo. Not likely. It took about 10 people from my guild to do it. 2 of em were doning the mission and the rest were bait for the sith thugs. It was fun and when you made it back to the village you actually accomplished something.

So many stupid people are still alive because it is illegal to kill them.
Anyone who says, "Trust Me" can not be trusted.
It is not what you are killing but what you are allowing to live.

Idon't know of a strategy whereby you could do it solo, but it's easy to do it with a partner as described earlier in this thread. The first time I did it, I partnered up with someone who had done it before and it was easy to do. The trick is in waiting for the thugs to despawn. It is a waste of time to fight them since they are so strong that it takes forever to kill them and you are on a strict time limit. Just follow the strategy to the letter and you will be fine.

This quest really involves using your brain and not your brawn. You can complete it without killing a single thug. Good luck next time it comes around.

I read over Cada_kai's method for doing it with two people and I have a question. Does the guy who runs into the base to shutdown the shields and destroy the turret in there still have to take out 5 thugs as I''ve read elsewhere or can the other guy do it if the first gets killed off, or is the whole 5 thug thing not accurate?

Thanks,
