I don't mean to flame your 'opinion', however, the guides were written so people had a quick and convenient way of getting this information instead of flooding the boards. It doesn't matter if they arethree months old, they are all up to date and the information is current. You can easily find an answer quicker through the guides then sitting back and waiting for people to respond to your post. To me, it's not your opinion ... just laziness to look through the stickys or check the other forums (like Commando).
To answer your question, I was a Master Commando up until a week ago. I am also doing the village and dropped it anyways. Unless you're on a populated server, trying to find high end grenades is going to be difficult. Especially since most Weaponsmiths consider them a waste of resources.
