If you want to quit, it's your call.

Personally, if you don't have Ranged Speed or Melee Defence, I'd spend the next 2-3 weeks getting the xp needed (you can do a branch in a week easily without even breaking a sweat witha Bol group out of Dant MO etc) and then do that in phase 4. Voila, 1 jedi.

Its annoying, but it will save the 3 month wait for phase 3 again, and the assumption that you still won't be able to complete the quest again then anyway.

If you've done those 2, how about switch to scout/ranger get some senses xp (SO easy to get) and do a simplesenses tree in Phase 4 or 1.

Like someone said, if this is frustrating you enough to quit rather than work round it... you are probably not going to enjoy being a jedi anyway.

I have already done the Melee Speed, Ranged Accuracy,Melee Defence and Ranged Defence Quests. I have 1.4 Million Force Sensative Combat XP banked. The two quests I need to do are Ranged Speed and Melee Accuracy. I can do the Ranged Speed Quest easy enough in Phase 4. The one obsticle in my way is this damn quest!

I probally wont quit I was just really damn anoyed last night at failing the quest for the 4th time and it was 3am. The next chance I will probally get at this quest is on Monday.

However the quest is very bugged! You only need to look at all the other posts on these boards to figure it out. How hard would it be for the Dev's to hotfix this? It should take all of 5 mins and yet they still have not done it.

Why everyone assumed I was trying this on my own and was not using strategy well I guess that proves they are arogent and assume to much.

hmm, i feel for you, but you say you failed the quest, not that its bugged. What has happend the times you have tried it? And as "all" for people posting the "bugged" quest on this board, you should take into concideration that succsessful completed quests done get posted here

Our group succefully broke into the base, got the commander, escorted him back inside the village walls, defended him from Sith attack inside the village walls, the commander despawned, and no one received the unlock or reward. Mission accomplished, reward not!

the quest is definately do-able. I just finished it Tuesday night. It took two tries, but got it done. Yes, the commander walks very slow and yes, the turrents hit VERY hard. It does get hard to get a group together to do this quest since only 2 people get credit for each time. Just talk to some of your guild mates (assuming you're in a guild) and you should get some help. after the first base we tried, which was 6.5km away, I was very frustrated. just turn that frustration into determination. After failing the first one 900m out of the village, I was just mad enough to want to kick this quest's *edit*. Don't let it make you mad enough to quit the game. collect enough discs to get one of the 3 closest bases, and if you gotta sit and wait at the base for 2 hours, so be it. better than 3 months, right? Plenty of people have completed this quest, so you can too. there are plenty of posts giving walk throughs and suggested tactics. giving up and waiting til next phase to do a easy quest isn't gonna help you any. After you unlock and finish the padawan trials, the game is only gonna get more difficult, so might as well get used to it. have fun man, hope you get it done.

this may be going out on a limb . . . but Jedi don't NEED melee accuracy . . . or did they start putting FS qualification on Jedi under the radar?

BTW . . . your stuff . . . I'd be glad to hold it till you get back . . .

Whiners...

1. you don't need this quest to be a jedi any of the 6 full branches give you access to pady trials
2. not all the quest are to be done alone... remebring katarn, kraytes, acklay...
3. do some escort mission first do get used to the system, yes it's boring and difficult but it's still possible at the 3 closets bases

many, many, many people don't know to play as a group :/ really silly because if you do the game becomes so easy... killing the big moobs in 3 mins max w00t no problem without any incap or corpse

just use some tactics... else go play any other ego shooter...

MMORG doesn't stand for online solo role game...
