Thread: We Deserve Credit!!!
The_Waylander wrote:Technically it's not a 'bug' it's under issues. Not bugs. If you keep the commander from getting together with the sith and you keep him within 30m of you, he shouldn't take the poison. It's very possible to finish the mission.
You're the first person I have ever heard claim that the poisoning can be prevented.

No it's a challange. Get a good group and do it. I had 5 people in my group. No jedi. And we had a base 3k from village. Sith attacked us 5 or 6 times and they took the aggro from me and the commander. I did die once at the base and my only salvation was to capture the commander myself which I did so successfully. I didn't even know it was bugged. I wouldn't expect people who didn't finish it to get credit for it though. You didn't complete it. Find a closer base. I did it from 3200m out and was successful you can too.
you really didnt have to take commander yourself failed message when you die is bugg my partner died and thought that but I captured cmdr res'd him and we both got credit have done mission beore cu myself and helped others since

I tried the mission 7x post CU.... even at the close bases he died each and everytime because I couldn't either keep him with me or the speed of which he's going. IT was intolerable and i'm hoping the next Phase 3 in 9 weeks addresses the issue.
Total BS in my opinion, but, I have to say this is not at the top of their issues as a whole.

All i can say is that it is possible, you just needed to keep him moresafe
Im just saying that because i was one of the lucky ones who completed the quest in time.
How the hell can you "keep him more safe" than making a bee line for the village and having someone else keep the sith of your back...the damn guy walks at a snails pace and died 2K into the 6K trip...it makes no freakin' sense!!!!
There was about 12 of us who tried this. Almost everyone in the group had completed this prior to CU. Its impossible to keep the guy safe. We stayed right next to him. Not only wouldnt he run up hills, but he kept running back to the compound.
There is a location bug in the game, which causes loads of problems. This would be another. The server isnt updating your location correctly.
1. Stops the inside of buildings from rendering.
2. Keeps saying "you have stopped watching/listening to *** because you are too far away"
3. Wont allow you to attack the npc who is attacking you.
4. Allows an NPC to attack you from too far away.
5. Makes your toon look to run off and agro every npc in site, when to you it looks like you havent moved.
6. Wont allow you to interact with objects.
7. Stops NPC from following you.
8. Makes the phase 3 melee quest almost impossible.
9. Cannot mount or unmount your mount/speeder
10. Stuck in combat.
These are the bugs i have come across due to this locational bug.
How do you know you have TRULY completed the phase 3 commander quest. I "completed" the quest--so I think--because I have both rewards in my inventory. However, my quest journal says I still have that mission to complete, and I cannot train the box that was supposed to be unlocked. When I did the quest, I was the guy to take down the shield and die and then meet the others back at the village with the commander. Everything went well up until the meet back at the village part. On my way there from the Outpost, my ISP crashed and I wasn't able to log back on until the next day. When I logged on I had both rewards in my inventory and I spoke to the guy that escorted the commander back. He confirmed to me that he completed.
Does it sound like I unlocked? Or do I have to wait 9 weeks to try it again?

I put a total of over 10 hours in to this mission. The first bug is that the mission is incompletable from 90% of the bases you loot the shield code for.
The second bug is that the commander only walks, will not run like pre-cu.
The third bug is that the commander will spontaneously take poison and die for no apparent reason. (pre cu you could engage in combat and he wouldnt die also)
All I can say is between CU, and the bugs, the timeperiod I had to do phase III was nigh impossible. I tried, and tried, and tried, and tried. I put more time and effort in to this quest than all the others combined. I feel like I more than earned and deserve an unlock, but I didnt get one because of CU. Not my fault and not anyone elses.
All people that accepted this quest during CU should get automatic credit.
