I think there is something faulty in your link, it is just font, not a link, could you just post the URL? May make it a slight easier.

Well in regards to the LS dmg, I can understand that its energy, but it should definatly be heavy armor piercing or in some league of its own like.....elite armor piercing? or something that is even better than heavy armor so it will be kept balanced as it is now, e.i. LS do massive dmg to player and everything else. The only thing I am not exactly worried about,though a little conserned, is the elamental dmgs that will be impleminted heat i can understand completely, but things like cold, acid, etc. are gonna be interesting to see played out in the long run, all i can say, its gonna be an interesting few weeks for the jedi out there vetran and soon to be, so GL to you.

did everyone forget so quickly about the elemental dmg that will be on your saber depending on the color crystal you use?


and nobody forgot bout the pearls you put in your saber did they...we don't know if that will add tot he elemental or energy dmg part of the saber yet...

If any of you paid attention to the story lines in KOTOR and KOTOR 2 you would know that jedi are getting weaker, and KOTOR2 was 4000 YEARS AGO!

I agree, it's energy. But in lieu of making the sabers to 25-50k of damage and become ridiculous weapons, why not keep sabers unresistable? To go one better, future sabers will (I swear I'm not making this up) have the color crystals determine 'elemental' damage.
That's right, slap the right crystal in, and you've got yourself the galaxy's deadliest freezy-pop. Or maybe you'll opt for the acid-saber, since there's plenty of nonvolatile acids at whatever near-fusion temperature that a saber operates at.
We're still waiting on what the 'brown' crystals will do, but the going theory is either poo-inducing, or poo-hurling. When coupled with 'yellow', we'll be unstoppable.

actually...they cannot cut thru reinforcedblast doors...multiple games,books have said this..and regular blast doors...slowly as hell

and not to mention..when was the last time u sawjedi knights run from 2 droidekas?

Good point, the power up crystals/pearls have still got to be considered. Though in my oppinion i think they will add to the energy dmg.

Also in regards to the fact that armor will have energy and some select element, My friend brought up a good point, all we would need to do is carry 2 good sabers for pvp and a crystal of each type, then figure out which element defence, if any, the player's armor will have.

Yeah, but we also didn't expect a color crystal to determine an elemental dmg....so it is possible it will boost that low number but who knows.
