LOL That's an awesome idea! I never would've thought about luring him (or maybe all but the crystals) out to a lake. Do I 'duck hunt' anyone?

Even under the CU this should make it easier.

I am in the same boat guys. Only difference is I have to wait for Phase 1. Hopefully you guys can give me a heads up on what will happen.

Imo, this is something that should be soloable, after the cu. (I'm saying that it should be, not that it will, I have no idea) It is a part of the jedi trials (padawan/knight/ect. are all part of the jedi path ) Hopefully the dev's will realize that.

phase 2 for me... i have1 full branch done, so basically 5 branches to fill in about 3 weeks, at ~500k FS exp/week isnt going to get me there ><

Man, ill fight him a couple months after cu hits, Though i havent seen old man yet, i plan to grind out all my fs exp before cu hits

I am prepared for 13 hours a day grinds for 9 days!

I'm currently assuming that the phase will change on my server this Saturday. I will be getting my final unlock then, and will hopefully be fighting mel onSunday. I'll be lucky to be one of the last to attack him before the CU, and this should seriously be a good thing for me, however I feel you guys' pain.

Mel isgonna drop a load in his pants when he sees me and my gank squad of 15 DJK's, Templars, and whatever the other titles are.

I will probably unlock on May 5th. If so, so what. I don't think it will be anymore difficult considering I have a decent base of experienced players in my guild.

Have a feeling they forgot to downgrade his hams or something.. but still a group of 20+ shouldnt have to much of trouble kicking his behind!

don't forget, max group size after the CU is 8. And yes, I too am in the same boat as all of you. Just patiently waiting for phase 4 to roll around and hoping the sith in the village don't eat me alive.

i think if you group 8 master elites, Mel and the gang will conred/yellow-white or lower making it not much different than now except the day of the solorifleman or whatevergoing it alone will be gone. If nothing else, I think the group/level system will make it easier than it is now. Not to mention the saber will be doing energy damage...just a thought, good luck to you

WEll no-one knows, perhaps Mel will be easier after the CU it may mean that all of us who have to fight him after the CU can solo him
