Okay let me get this straight. It's okay to grind 1.9 million force exp. in 2 days doing the above method but alot of people are freaking out when some people use grenades for the same effect? Where is the outcry over this?

Why isn't anyone crying foul or exploit for this? I'm sorry but I just don't get it. I'm not saying that the above method you are using is wrong; I'm just questioning the motives of those that scream over grenade grinding.

Both methods costs tons of creds and take tons of time. I guess I just want to know what the difference is really.

Again I'm not flaming the quoted poster or anyone in this thread, I'm just curious why one method of grinding is frowned upon and other seems to be totally acceptable.

There is no difference, its all an exploit, don't you get it?? When you find a way to do something quickly as far as time saveing, then it's an exploit, like group hunting is an exploit everyone should have to be grouped up together no matter if you are hunting dwarf nuna'sor Slemo Punks orNight Sister'syou should be ina group at all timesafter all this is a MMORP game. Its the same thing asuseing macro's to craft that is a huge glareing exploit. It does not matter that the game has this built in, and the tools are avilable to EVERYONE! It's an exploit!

Sorry about that, just needed to vent. Anyway after playing this game for over a year I have gotten used to things being broken, nurfed, or removed to bring balance to everything, since it seems to be easier to do this then to correct the problems and or imbalances that other proffesions may have. I hope to have my grind done before anychanges are made to the current xp conversion.

To the origianal poster of this thread sorry to hear your xp convesion is so poor. I don't think that I could do it.Perhapsif you have some combat skills in your characteryou might be able to gain some additional xp that way. The person that postedabout the resurection method may have a good point in useing that. And lastly you can always pickup some C-12 nades and grind out some combat xp it at least that has a 3:1ratio on coversion.

Good luck either way, and to everyone else out there doing the jedi grind even if you are only looking to get the force sense bonus's good luck and happy hunting to you as well..

Well in my opinion I would say the rezz xp is even worse because you can be completely AFK to do it other than actually trading in the XP itself at cap.

You can set up in the village and make that very easy as well. Other than Phase 4 just sit right next to Paemos, run macros, and come back every so foten to trade in xp then start again.

Either way, I feel that howver you find a way to get it done, then do it. Whatever works best for you, and I hold no ill will towards anyone using grenades or any afk macros to grind any of the enormous XP required.

AFK grinding is the only way a casual to semi-casual player can do it.

You know, they could leave the experience the way it is and have the phase changes every week instead of 3 weeks and I'd be happy. As is there is only one thing slowing me down in the grind and that is waiting for the phase changes. I could have been padawan already, but because of phase changes I need to wait another 3 months or so. The experience is pretty easy to grind if you're willing to pick up the professions that are best at grinding the low conversion rate experiences.

What's really sad is that if SOE hadn't screwed up and deleted my character on my old account then told me they couldn't do jack about it, I could have been a Jedi Knight by now. As is I unlock a skill, cancel my account til the next phase I need comes up and then come back. I'm starting to think it's a waste of time, especially since WoW is out and it is awesome.

Peace is a lie, there is only passion
Through passion I gain strength
Through strength I gain power
Through power I achieve victory
Through victory my chains are broken
The force shall free me.
