I to have been thinking about what to do for Senses xp. I first started with Master CH xp and Scouting xp. Also Master Smuggler for slicing xp.I then needed to master medic in order to take the phase 2 quest for Persuasion, so had to drop ch and most of scout.
But after getting novice Senses, xp has been very slow. I basicly had slicing and asmall amount of scouting leftto use for Senses. After much slicing and scouting,I still haven't filled the first box.Master medic was going to be temporary, but now I have been thinking of trying to get thesenses boxes using medic xp.
Probably what I should have done is waited on getting Persuasion and just use Master CH, and 30k of Scout xp plus some Slicing xp to capp Senses xp. Then unlock and etc.
I suppose now I'll try useingMedic andSlicing plus a very small amount ofscout xp to gain Senses xp.

Well I was looking at my skills last night and running some numbers. The ranger idea is
really not a bad idea. the only draw back is I need to rework my templet a bit to free
up some skill points but, I can always change it back. If my numbers are correct:
160,000 scout xp = 20,000 Force xp
1st box = 8.75 scout xp caps
2nd box = 12.5 scout xp caps
3rd box = 17.5 scout xp caps
4th box = 22.5 scout xp caps
total = 61.25 caps
That is not bad compared to the other methods. The only question is how long will it
take me to cap 160K scout xp? I dont think it should be to hard since I can cap 30k in
about 25 min. so i will be mastering scout in the next day or so and I will let you all
know what the results of my tests are.
results are in: With a full solo group hunting enraged rancor missions on Dath. I can
cap 160k scout xp in about 1 1/2 hours.

Before I read thispost I had already decided that I needed a change... So, I specifically spent about6 hours to go from 1040 scout to 0040 ranger over the past few days. I was tired of only getting the 30k scouting xp cap.
I am thrilled with the difference and find that I caneasily cap unarmed combat XP at 900k, regular combat at 90k, and have somewhere in the neighborhood of 120k scouting xp to trade in every time I visit the village.I can usually do this aboutone and a half times per buff session, and am making a BE friend very happy because I have managed to collect almost 100k of meat doing this. Only 60 more conversion trips and I will be done.

Doing the Ranger thing myself, but I'm considering doing Master Ranger, mostly for the badge. I can get 90k scout xp of enraged rancors in maybe 45 minutes at the most, this combined with the fact that I'm still grinding unarmed and combat xp for the previous phase(taking my sweet time). Also people are buying Dath Carn meat on my server for like 40cpu, so I'm making more than 20k each time I harvest. I also plan on AFK camping(I'm doing it right now), i'm not sure what the conversition ratio is for that, but it's gotta be decent. Trapping xp is an option to, but I don't think it's a reasonable way to go about getting the xp. Hope that helped a bit.

Well I have not hade as much time to play as i would have liked too, But I an now a Ranger 2000.
I must say that i think this is the way to go. If you are all combat and don't have a way to get med xp.
At the Ranger level that I am at I can turn on mask scent and drive from the science outpost to the village
and get about 5k scout xp. I am looking forward to reaching 4000. I think this will be a good way i can
work on 2 trees at the same time.

Good to hear the Ranger is working well, I was going to get master Ranger. But I decided since I was closer to Doc skills it would make more sense for me to go that route. I didn't have any scout skills left, so I'll see how the Doc med xp works out. Good info here, lets keep it up.

I'm a 4040 ranger and cap out scouting xp every two days. It seems slow but the thing to note here is that the scout xp is PASSIVE. I get it for using maskscent/conceal and for harvesting corpses WHILE I'm getting my weapon and combat xp at the same time. I don't have to choose one or the other.

I'm also in this predicement. I plan on my 6 Branches being:
Survival (unlocked)
Melee Speed (unlocked)
Melee Accuracy (unlcoked)
Ranged defense
Melee Defense
Luck
All of these can be trained using regular combat xp apart from luck, at the moment im Master Swords / Master Rifles and 2/0/0/0 scout and capping scout xp at 20000 every buff session. This is way too slow so i'll be forced to take Master scout and Ranger to get a high enough cap to train it.
I really dont want to change my template though so this is gonna be hard. I'm thinking about grinding all the xp I will need for combat and then dropping Rifles in exchange for Scout/Ranger.
Just a question about this, what branch of Ranger gives you the highest cap and the best to takebecause I dont really want to Master Ranger.
