I've heard from a couple of people that doing the holocron way will no longer be the only way to become a Jedi. Is this true and if so what is the exact thing that is going to happen.

yes it is true in patch 7 a new system will be placed which you have to complete quests to get your fscs or something like that I have heard

Has anything been said about what they are going to be doing with Holocrons? Are they going to be a useless item now? Or will they include them in the jedi quest? Cause i've got around 42 of em and it would be a **edit** shame if they were to go extinct.

I'm not sure, but i bet its been discussed a million times on the board and thats probably the reason no one has responded yet. Most people are to lazy and for some reason find it aggrivating to keep answering the same question over and over again. I dunno, i dont find it much of a problem, if i knew id tell ya, but i don't.

Holos were never needed to become a Jedi.

They only give you hints.

I'm curious as to where people are finding their holocrons. Are they quest rewards? Are they lootable? Is there some magical chest somewhere I have to find and open? Please tell me where and how you got your first holocron. Thank You

I got mine from that christmas holocron giveaway thing. Im still working on that one. its Master Rifleman... a boring and long profession... I bought my second one from a nice person for 150k. I just need 3 more ><...

i know you can get a sith holocron as a neutral (if you have a imp friend that can kill a jedi) or as imp, still able tokill a jedi. Just go to dantooine active ruined jedi temple POI near the temple is an NPC he gives you three quest at the end of nr 3 he gives you a sith holo as a reward.

There is a cave very near the temple too, inside is another NPC said to me i was too evil, but i guess she will do the trick for rebels.

Hope this will get you on the road to jedi-hood

I'll get flamed for this but i've checked the jedi forums and i can't seem to find where you get holos. i know you get crystals from meatlumps or some lump but where do you get holo's.

Let the flaming begin 8(

You can loot them from high level NPCs which are force sensitive, like the nightsisters and singing mountain clan on dathomir, and force sensitives/crystal hunters on dantooine.
