You should spread the word cause theirs like a gazzilion other people who dont have a clue and bought the game cause the cover made it sound like you just create a character and boom your a jedi.

This is a great guide.
The Padawan quests are incredibly bugged, SOE is just to incompetent to fix them. It would be great fun, otherwise.

I have a couple points to make.
First off, thank you very much. Your posthas clearedmost of my doubts and concerns. It was also very helpful during my trials. Specially for the Spice mom trial (I was ready not to let her have it at all)and Chef trial ( this was my last trial an I almost clicked on yes if not because I had notes based onyour post).
Not sure why this happened, but Crafting Lightsaber trial was my 9th, not 8th, trial. (I carefully recorded the order becasue I wanted to make sure to craft my lightsaber before I needed to log earlier this afternoon - Sunday April 24). I did get 2 bugged trials before the crafting one... I thought it might be related in some way, but that is just an idea. Did notice that out of all my bugged trials (6 I think) all but one occured after I had been aggroed by thugs and such in the cities.
And last... I have completed my trials and gained my robe and the rank of Padawan (plus a freaking cool FORCE bar!!!). But my only concern through this process is that I logged out and attempted to create my alt and wasn't allowed. Did I miss a post? Any ideas or sugestions greatly appreciated.

Crafting the training LS seemed to be my 9th trial as well.
I also believe that getting aggro'd will bug your mission. I was a combatant which made things interesting in starports while trying to talk to the NPCs. I saw the NPCs despawn in front of me a couple of times. I went on leave and the bugs seemed to decrease. Still having problems with Grizzlo, which seems to be a commonly bugged quest.
I also found that making my own waypiont by the NPC contact helps. On quests where you leave the planet, the contact's wp tends to disappear.

I'd like to know which skills I require to craft medicine for the Phase I: Persuasion quest now after the CU. I'm master combat medic that makes getting medical xp easy, however I have little medicine crafting skills.

It's Gungan Military missions if you wish to update, those spawn falumpasets around 60% of the time(sometimes tehres nothing, sometimes a fambaa/veermok), Mercs dont spawn creatures.

No you don't. You do not have to change proffession at all during trials.
