Any jedi or FS 4 with either persuassion or survival like to comment on which one is better to have.
I have yet to hear any definitive evidence on what persuassion does, if anything.
And is +5 Force Terrain Negotiation the same as a scouts +5 TN?

I finished up Phase 4 CP Ranged Speed. I killed all 50 Outlaws and 25 Pirates. I got the message that says "You have unlocked Ranged Speed" or whatever. I have trained in the first box of Ranged Speed. Everything seems cool, however, this morning when I logged in I had a message saying that I failed the mission. Anyone know what that might mean?
I'm not to worried as I have unlocked the tree and still have the Ranged Speed I. But just wondering if I've done anything wrong.
Man I hope not. Any thoughts would be great.

Can you only do certain quests to unlock certain parts of the skill trees? Like if I only want the following can I do it in this order?
M. Speed [+12] increases your speed with Melee Weapons [Including Lightsabers]
M. Accuracy [+12] increases your accuracy with Melee Weapons [Including Lightsabers]
Vehicular Control [Control +20, Speed +3] increases acceleration and turning.
M. Defense [+20] adds melee defense
Healing [+10 Injury Treatment&Speed, +20 Wound Healing Dance/Music] Helps healing power (think stims), DOES NOT affect buffs.
M. Speed [+12] increases your speed with Melee Weapons [Including Lightsabers]
M. Accuracy [+12] increases your accuracy with Melee Weapons [Including Lightsabers]
Vehicular Control [Control +20, Speed +3] increases acceleration and turning.
M. Defense [+20] adds melee defense
Healing [+10 Injury Treatment&Speed, +20 Wound Healing Dance/Music] Helps healing power (think stims), DOES NOT affect buffs.

Each quest unlocks a single branch, not the entire tree.
You cannot however do it in that order (without waiting silly times) since you have it as skills in phases: 2, 3, 2, 4, 4 respectively.
One quest (hence one branch) per phase.

Vehicular Control [Control +20, Speed +3] increases acceleration and turning.
M. Accuracy [+12] increases your accuracy with Melee Weapons [Including Lightsabers]
M. Defense [+20] adds melee defense
Healing [+10 Injury Treatment&Speed, +20 Wound Healing Dance/Music] Helps healing power (think stims), DOES NOT affect buffs.

why does this not get stickied?
I often ask myself the same question.
Gonton, the problem with that order is that it requires you to do multiple quests per phase, and you are only allowed one. Since we are now in Phase 1 look at it this way. We will be going:
Phase 1)
Phase 2)
Phase 3)
Phase 4)
Phase 1)
Phase 2)
Phase 3)
Phase 4)
over the next 24 weeks (3 weeks per phase). You get to write in one skill per phase that you would like to unlock (from the 4 that are offered each phase). If you are trying to do it in less time then you would take one from each of the first 6 lines, saving yourself 6 weeks at the end (although that would mean you'd have to change your desired skill set. Your current list would look like this (note the waiting time required):
Phase 1) NOTHING
Phase 2) Melee Speed
Phase 3) Melee Accuracy
Phase 4) Melee Defense
Phase 1) NOTHING
Phase 2) Vehicular Control
Phase 3) NOTHING
Phase 4) Healing

It is always correct to do *something* in a phase, unlocking doesn't cost you anything and expands your options if youdecide to train it later, and there's always the rewards, some of which are very very useful (and some of which... aren't)
