I found some wild lairs outside Moenia, or you can take Gungan missions (think its warcamp missions) they usually spawn a falumpaset.

It took me about 8 hours with all the quest bugs you will get. Off the top of my head, talus, naboo, and i think rori's we bugged. You will get to the wp and no one there. You can use a lightsaber halfway through the trials, I believe 16 of them, on the 8th you have to craft a training saber, horrible damage, horrible stats so I don't advise using it alone. Get in a spin group and tab through to get the 20k jedi xp to pick up your first novice box. Correction, post cu you can't use the saber until trials are completed as you will have no force bar, you get saber hit at Padawan.

I believe this is somewhat true. As far as I know (and have observed,) you can indeed get the saber to light up by dueling someone and letting them shoot you. Though you cannot attack back, you can "use" it by lighting it.

same with me, no bugs along the way. Except in one instance during the survival FS quest, where the villager spawned inside of a tree. However a lair spawned near it to remove the tree, I was lucky 
.
.I like the jedi grind, its longer than normal profs, and shorter than the FS. It's balanced.
I enjoy grinding my jedi,(Imagine! LIKE grinding lmao!), spinning lairs are realllllyyyy fun.
It was simply worth it.

They must have fixed the bugs that were so regular with the Padawan trials, because I got through all 16 with no hang-ups.
So from the first visit with the old man when he gave me the force crystal, to unlocking 2 days ago....not a single bug. And I am usually not lucky.
So keep the faith, the payoff has been worth it so far. I am loving the Jedi grind and is far better than the FS grind for the simple fact that I am unlocking new skills as I grind. Yes, its a longer grind than FS, but with new skills obtained along the way, I am looking at it as, ok only 300k more xp until i unlock this skill that I want, as opposed to looking at it as ok, only xxx million more xp until I am full template. You can look at it in small increments to make it more tolerable and actually fun.
On the other hand you dont gain skills in the FS grind, just attribute boosts. So the long ass grind is tedious at best. You are forced to see it as needing xxx million more xp until you gain something worthwhile, your Jedi unlock.

Same with me, no bugs throughout the entire trials. Though I would gladly trade the lag I had for a couple of bugs.

Same here, no bugs (except on the kill kitty trial where the cat spawned inside a house, but I just used a droid to pull it) on my trials. I'm doing my alt first before my jedi though
