ISSUES

  • Since the medical crafting changes in the CU, only Bio-Engineers can now complete the Phase 1 "Cure the Sick" quest. It seems to be more than a little odd that Medics, Doctors, and Combat Medics do not have the capability to complete this quest, which is technically curing people.

Just found this out the hard way yesterday. Master Medic, Master Doc and I can't finish it. If I can't finish it then why did the NPC allow me to take the mission? Makes absolutely no sense. This quest needs fixed so that any master medical profession can do it, with or without BE.

It still can be done just have to find a Bio-E who has “Master Medic” to make the meds for you, however a Bio-E/Master Medic is a oddball template, and not very useful template and your not likely to find one on your sever.

Best shot you have is to post on the trade forums asking if anyone has left over meds form the there Pre-CU village quest.

Here's a tip for people with the looted data pad bug from when the Sith attack after receiving the crystal from the old man. If you get that bug try putting the data pad in your backpack and then back into your inventory, it worked for me when I did it, not sure if it's 100% fix or whatnot though.

Yup, had the same problem the first 3 times i met the Siths, after the Old Man. Filed a ticket to the CSR, and got the reply that I should either try this same trick as Top-Dawg is describing or make sure that I killed both siths, either completely by myself or in a group, and then first loot them after they both had been killed!

I know it sounds abit far out but, lucky for me it worked!

I can definately tell you that if a person out of your group as much as fires a single shot on the Sith, he wont drop the datapad, but only the ore.

Ohhh, and another thing! The Datapad cant be traded, as it's a waypoint item.

I need to know, will the issue of not unlocking the ranged accuracy branch be addressed soon, or should I grind out the XP I need and go for another branch? I need to plan ahead. Can I get a response on this?

OK, I think you addressed my major concerns. The Senses FS Quests requiring Master Medic even though CMs and Docs don't need Master Medic anymore has to rate up there in the top 5. At least they should put in a check for those two profs. And I guess they should have to redo any of the senses quests that require crafting, since that is no longer a Doc or CM skill.

I've got 3 FS toons and the first of the 3 finished his six branches last nite (the very first branch I ever unlocked was the Ranged Accuracy one and I put one box into it before it stopped working for people, so I never had a problem with it when I went to finish it post-CU). Waiting on the Old Man so I can call my friends over for a little Mel-Bashing. Hope they didn't make it impossible with Pub 19. Some of the Initiate quests might need to be looked at now too. In the old days, you grabbed some, i.e., falumpaset missions off the terminals and got your 20. Now, however, if you're a CL 80 (and I don't see how you can get thru the quests anymore if you're not), you're looking at a bunch of REALLY hard missions to get thru the trials. I thought Jedi training was supposed to be traditionally a loner kind of thing, but I'm pretty sure I'll need to get a couple of friends to help me out post-CU.

Basically, the big issue is that they need to rebalance the FS quests, and in some cases alter them entirely, in the wake of the CU.

The Sith attacked me and i looted the datapad from them. When i used it it said i must loot the target before extracting the info from it. The next day they attacked me again, i got the datapad, again, and got the WP this time! =D when i got to the first spot, it told me to go somewhere else, when i got to the next spot, NOTHING was there! The quest got DELETED from my quest journal and it really sucks. Also i go to that spot about 500 times a day and nothing is there, and finally the WP to that place keeps duplicating in my datapad so i can't put new WP's in i have 2 go delete about 600 of the other WP's.

Was there ever a fix on the Phase 3 melee accuracy quest from Capt Sarg?

I have one phase left to unlock (melee acc) and don't want to spend 3 weeks killing lvl 121 Sith =P

Are the turrets/Sith balanced? And does the commander follow without problems?

I got lucky on my spawn of the camp. I just happened to be in Theed when the old man came to me. The waypoint eventually lead to the back of the palace where the spire is sticking off the cliff, and a mound of dirt forms around it. Mel and his friend spawned in the center of dirt pile which was a valley in itself. The Crystals formed around outside, and the Mercs/Thugs spawned outside with the crystals and some in the camp. The process made it easy to take care of the Thugs then the crystals, and as a group (3-4 Jedis tanked) took on Mel and his friend. This was the wierdest spawn to date for the group I was with, and they have worked over 20-30 spawns combined.

What made my spawn so unique is that with the help of the Rebels, I was able to complete the quest with just a TKM/MBH/Pikeman helping me (had a couple of Master Riflemen show up later that helped to speed things along). I thinkthe TKMdied once during the crystal takedown but I just stayed behind the base (big ol CL 21 here) and let the rebels take care of Mell
