Thread: What am I supposed to do in the Village?

After I got the wp to the village by killing the sith camp, I went to the village. At first I went to a guy and I exchanged all my unarmed xp (900k) for Force combat xp. Didn't knew what to do then, but finally I found the guy close to the entry who gave me missions. After I destroyed 3 shadow camps he said I should come back tomorrow. What am I supposed to do now? Do I realy HAVE to wait untill tomorrow? And if so how long is it gonna take untill I become Jedi initiate? The last thing I want is to go there every day for maybe a half year long to kill 3 camps in 5 minutes and wait for the next day. If that's true I'm out of this game. Bah

Please check the sticky guides "READ ME FIRST" and "Jedi Path Revamp Guide" for information pertaining to the village and beyond in your quest to Jedi.
You took the mission for a Enhanced Reflexes branch, Ranged Defense. You will destroy 3 mission targets the first day, 3 the next day, and 2 the last. The Ranged Defense branch will then be unlocked. I haven't done a thorough reading myself yet, but I believe that this and it's sister mission "Search and Destroy" for Melee Speed in Phase 2 are the only missions that exhibit this.
The exchange rate for unarmed experience to Force Sensitive Reflexes experience is 30 to 1. However, since you changed all of your experience to Force Sensitive combat experience, you will need to use this experience on a later branch unlocked.
It is going to take you a very long time to get to initiate. You can only do one quest per phase, and each phase lasts about 3 weeks. So you must work for Jedi for about 4.5 months.

Once you get to the village, find the NPC named "stickied thread" and do everything he tells you to.

What do you do once you get to the village?
You grind...
grind all day, all the time...
grind until your eyes bleed...
grind until you're cut off from the outside world and your existence has become empty and meaningless...

NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO BECOME A JEDI.
There is plenty to do in this game other than grind.

I dont mean to harp on anyone and I am not trying to flame, but how many people get completely started wrong, just because they dont take the time to read what is provided? The stickies are your friends.

Well now it seems like it's gonna take months to complete this village anyway, what should I do meanwhile? Keep exchanging xp for force xp?

Yes!!! Exactly.
The three week phase is not really a problem. It takes the average player longer then 3 weeks to grind the xp to fill the tree.

When will I need this xp? And where can I see how much I need of it?
And I think atm the village is in phase III. Will that be a problem? Should I only start at Phase I ?

You have to work this out for yourself, if you read the stickies on this forum you can work out your best route through the village, but it doesnt really matter when you start. just remeber once you have unlocked the branch you want you need to grind the exp to train them, this can be done either by constandly grindin and nothing else or playing the game as normal having fun. enjoy!

As aggravating as this is especially with all the hard work people do on the stickies i will get to the point. You HAVE to keep cashing in your xp for fs xp other wise you will never make it. You WILL have to wait 18+ weeks minimum before you can even get to initiate. It is likely going to be a minimum of 19-20 weeks because the phases last 3 weeks plus a few days along with the 2nd old man visit. I dunno how you grind but you need to finish 1 full branch each phase and have 1 full branch banked IF you want to get initiate in that 18-20 weeks. If it takes you 6 weeks for 1 branch then you are looking at a half a year or more.
The last thing you should be thinking about is Jedi Initiate. You also have to come back to the guy after 24 hrs so you can do a couple more then he will say come back tomorrow and then when you do you will finish it. I will end with to please read the stickies. Don't skim over it and say things aren't there because every time someone says that, the info is actually there.
