Force Sensitive Archive

Jedi are supposed to be in hiding or hunted, so..uhh..maybe you shouldn't mention the "J" word when stopped by a stormtrooper, etc, etc.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like common sense.

Doesn't always work, I tried that at a battlefield and got no response or incap, tho I haven't tried it infront of a player imp pet

For those that don't know, I put the offending phrase in red. Saying this in front of an Imperial NPC will do that, and pets are no exception when you slap them or whatever, so I assume they are teh same in this regard also. For the record also saying you want to be a jedi will get you beat down too.

Please, developers, get this tested, or something, I'll help if I must, although currently I don't have any jedi on the test servers, so you might work with a current jedi there to refund them their experience if they will help you "test" this... and again, I beleive any bounty hunter that does this if it will work, especially after reading my post about it, should be BANNED.

If this does work IMO the Jedi that get's killed by it deserves to die.

Go ahead with your tests to see if this would work but the probabability of it happening often are very unlikely.

For one if I wasa Jedi and a Overt IMP came up to me with his ST companion I don't think I would be sticking around for idle chat about being a Jedi.

The thing is, if he said "I am a jedi" in that respect, sure... but common talking and such... what if you ARE an Imperial Jedi? Or, what if you are taking to a friend and drop a tell, I'm just saying that this IS an exploit if it allows a bounty hunter to instantly incapacitate a Jedi he would otherwise stand no chance in combat against... PERSONALLY, I don't like the "instant incapacitation" at all... but that's not what this is about right now... but I do think that if my character can kill stormtroopers all day and not break a sweat, why should one be able to instantly knock her out when all she did was insult him? If ANYTHING it should get you a TEF only to him... instant incapacitation is just too much, and in this case COULD lead to an exploit...

Too many What if's

I agree it would be a pretty screwed up scenario but all i see is this is an exploit, this is considered greifing. Now who's to say that a BH is tracking a mark and the mark gets incapped by a ST cuz he's goofing around with the ST NPC in a city. BH shows up DB's him.

I would like to know why Jedi and constantly hunted down by bounty hunters in the first place? Just seems to me that it's so unnecessary and like wild spawn so much over-kill.

I had watched Star Wars - The Clone Wars for the second time since making the purchase last week. What gets me is the fact that through-out the movie Jedi were refered to as "Keepers of the Peace". However, in Star Wars Galaxies it seems a common theme that they are hunted down by bounty hunters like they are common criminals.

I have saw also in the last publish in which they have fixed it so that a Jedi cannot logout to drop off a parabot tracking sensors. That being the case, where does that leave the Jedi? Who knows?
