best advice I can say is jump on TC and try different temps. All professions are getting a complete overhaul. I would think something along the lines of rifles, swords again.

I dont even think you can answer that by going on TC. still about 3 weeks away and you dont know what changes are going to be made. It might be armorsmith

Naw, go architect and grind out heads all day. LOL.
Post CU it probably will not matter.
As I have stated before, the point of the CU is not to make anyone happy, it is to make money.
Ergo, no matter what profession you choose it will take a long F*&K*&^ time to get it done.
IE, Sony is simply making it harder to earn XP for all profs so you pay more fees and stick around longer. SO they hope anyway.
FYI - It is also my understanding that the CU will nerf the decent combat XP we can earn from nades. If anyone has a chance to test this let us know. Corbantis won't be up for testing for a while yet, if at all, the way things are going.

All profession are gonna be the same, so do the one ya like. You will get the same xp useing a pistol as you would a rocket launcher, probably at the same speed.

I think it's interesting that all the nade grinders are going to have to actually play a profession now, instead of just "using" commando for a glowstick!
As of now, I'm inclined to agree with the rifles / swords post above. However, the current state of TC is so inconsistent from day to day as to make it effectively impossible to say for certainty what will be the template of choice for FS grinding.
One thing is certain -- it's going to take a lot longer than it ever did huckin' thermals at baz nitches.

I am going to go Master Teras Kasi once the CU hits, because, TK's will have innate "armor" when they don't have actual armor on. I am not 100% sure if it works if you are holding a saber, but if it does, that might be a good thing to have as you can't wear armor as a jedi Obviously.... Does anyone kno if the TK "innate armor" or whatever it is would work while holding a saber???
EDIT: Oh my bad... I thought the post was "best prof for grinding jedi"... didn't see the "to" in there... "best prof for grinding TO jedi".....

at the moment i have all six branches unlocked, but cause im so lazy i got 3 boxes in combat to fill, and four lines in reflexes
with the respec from CU, assuming i stay for longer than 2 days, i can get my current template from TKM/Master Merchant, to TKM/Swords or TKM/Commando. prolly gonna go swords cause commando doesnt have any specials at present on TC. dont think it really matters what combat profs you have, if u want to get anywhere you need 2. on TC my current temp is a lvl56, and i got pwned by 2 lvl 50 rancors and a lvl 75 rancor tamer on dath when i tried a village run to see what dath was like.
any way you look at it after CU the FS grind is gonna be a longer harder road than it has been (excluding teh nade grinders
)
but thats what we pay for right

I assume the profession with the ability to hit multiple targets at once. Many have mentioned TKM but the new description gives TKM the defense advantage rather than offense. We will find out in time how good the new stacking abilities are. If so, Swords/TKM should be the ultimate, maybe with a dose of the Fencer bleeds for PvP. But then again, it looks like BH is getting powered up for PVE a good bit.
So this means that I have no flipping idea.

All the more reason to be banking xp like mad!
personally I've got 11 boxes left for combat to fill and 7 in senses, plus more tree to unlock
/sigh I'll never get this done in time

As it stands TK innate armour and Jedi innate armour will not stack, no. But on the upside if an NPC spawns you only have to switch weapons, and not go through the whole "equipping armour" nightmare. Saves money, and inventory space with robes you can't wear a pack with.
