Ok I understand about free unlocks I have 8 unknown profession that where created for me way back in publish 7 when started playing and I did not hit 5 of them or else I would be a Jedi right now. I have 3 master profession badges so I get 3 shots at getting free unlocks.

Now my noob friend who has been playing 2 weeks wants to be a jedi, don’t laugh she mastered TKA in 3 days and mastered Doc 10 days after that with out an AFK grind healing macro, she is a power gamer! So my question is she stared in publish 11 dose that mean she dose not have 8 unknown profession she can master to get free unlocks?

That is correct, no free unlocks. The are the reward for the people who did the hologrind during the change.

No, there is no way for her to get free unlocks at all, that was simply a way to place holo grinders part way into the quest when the system changed.

Also you dont have any chance at free unlocks either.. basically the way it worked is there were 9 professions (at the end of the holo system) you had to hit.. you could find out what 4 of them by using a holocon, the other 5 were hidden to you.

In order to get any free unlocks you would have had to mastered a minimum of 4 of your professions. Since you only mastered 3 total, and no clue if those were in your "list" there is no way you could get any free unlocks. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

First off--- Alright, I know you can't still use holos to unlock.
and I know that you need 3 of your required professions to get a free unlock.

So here's the situation

my first holo said armorsmith, mad, i did it
my second holo said musician, did that

now my third one said chef but i DIDNT do it. after that i took a break from swg, about 3 or 4 months. came back, and took another break, came back and the village system was put it and it was the second phase. fast forward to 4 months later and the present time.

now i'm wondering, since i had chef as one of my required unlocks, if i would master chef, would i get a free branch unlock? because it would have been my third required. or is that a waste. i'm just curious, to know whether or not it'd

so basically:

i did 2 of my holos, i knew the third one but didnt do it, i want to know if i would do it now, would it result in any free branch unlock.

thanks for the info

Good question. But i dont think it would work. Besides, by the time you mastered chef you would have a whole branch filled

it could. Theres some people that never did a holo in the pre-pub system, took a break and just recently came back, mastered several profs, and had free unlocks... I'm betting you would. Worth a shot, heck it's free xp for your hard work in chef if it works. If not, hey, you get some food outta it.
