I have stayed all melee because when I make jedi I wanted to have the general melee accracy and general melee speed to help me with my life as a paddy. Is this something that should be factored into post village template?

A.G. I see all the range template for grinding jedi but will they be messed up when they make paddy and all the range stuff is no longer usable or is even general melee stuff not usable with light saber?

Thanks for any help.

Any healer will help. Scout exploration is nice for the terrain negotiation. But you have to realize, at first, you won't be able to fight your way out of wet paper bag using force skills. Having any backup combat proff will help, until you have to completely converted over to jedi proffs. My biggest suggestion is to keep your CL level up as long as possible. Don't start grabbing skills just cuz you have 200k of xp. The bottom level skills are 8sp each and your CL will sink like a rock if you do. This will make grinding harder, as well as cut down on your xp gains.

they should or so people say. But even so if you go TKM you will have the innate tk armor i believe since robes isnt considered armor which means a huge advantage for you

Keep your CL up as much as possible.

Keep TKM as long as possible- yes the general speed and accuracy mods do work, and TKM has nice bonuses in the form of defences, power boost, and the armour which you don't get with a lightsaber because of your innatejedi armour, but you do when you unequip it (jedi robes are just clothing).

Healing is kind of double edged. If you use it in combat you will be losing Jedi xp. I'd say pick up some Healer and drop non jedi healing.

But I know the Jedi grind is different now. This is how I did mine, but I was doing it solo. (I didn't even have TKM left when I started grouping)

Cool. Just making sure. That is why I am staying melee even though it is hard to keep up with some of these fast grinding groups. you should have seen me running around in Phase 4 sith attack. LOL

Thanks all.

The first skill you will want to grind out will be double bladed LS 2. Even if you don't plan on having it in your template, get it for the area attack. It'll make grinding much easier.

Right now I am a TKM/smuggler and my old man will be here in a couple days. TKM is nice because of the innate armor until I can get some defender. Im going to keep the dirty fighting line of smuggler as long as i possibly can, for one simple and evil reason, BH's cant do NOTHING when you have feigned death. I will simply not allow myself to die to a BH, FD for the win!

Well you cant be attacked but you can be DBed when you FD. So this is a good way to bring the BH to you at least, they have to be close to DB.

I will give you teh same recommendation that I have given all of my friends that have gotten Jedi post CU, get doc 4004 ASAP. You have awesome heals, you have infusion (heal overt time), and teh 0004 line gives you teh self buffs. I had people that did this after they had started the Jedi grind and it saved them immensly. You use no force with doc and when you are weak force is very important. Run a macro with infusion and COB from tkm and you will do fine. Liek teh above poster said get teh area attack from double fast and get in a good grind group on dath and you will get xp pretty fast. Try and save getting skills so that you don't haev to drop a lot of stuff early on, this will kill you against mobs, and if you accidently get visiblity no worries as you don't haev much in Jedi skills anyway so you will not lose much xp from death. If you bank 1 million xp, and only have 50 sp in jedi stuff you will only lose 100k of xp, if you are weak and have 100 sp in jedi stuff you will lose 200k. 4 full rows should put you at cl 80. I would recommend getting double ls for area just for grinding. then concentrate on getting the xp for 0040 defender (improved aura) 0400 ls for armorbreak and powerhit, 0002 enhance for channel. If you still haev teh doc skills and a CM BH comes for you doc has teh counters for CM. force run is nice but with teh nerfs coming soon you will have to wait and see how that pans out. With 0404 LS, 0040 def, 0002 enhnacer and doc 4004 you should be able to survive a BH encounter better.

Uh, yes. They can. That was fixed 8 months ago.
