Welp, ive been waiting for this new system which is here.. the village after thinking "Hey, ya if i just wait i wont have to do the hologrind, the new system will be awsome quest!..." Then the village came and i saw that its just MORE grindin.. then i was thinking.. isnt this about becomnig a jedi? learning the ways of the force?...

Think Vader became a jedi by throwing Nades?

Think Luke became a jedi by capping Combat xp?

No... no way at ALL does that have anything to do with becoming a jedi... if Thorwing nades gets me to jedi somethings just wrong.. SERIOUSLY, it just needs to be a long line of missons each one you become closer to the force and learn more about it... because the way it is now.. its just messed up..

something NEEDS to be changed.... really...

I personally think the Devs just put this whole thing together to try and do one of two things: attempt to detour more people from becoming a jedi OR bring on the use of 3rd party and AFK macroing.

If they were going for the "detour" option, they missed it by long shot. After all, with the addition of crafting and medical xp to the road of becoming a Jedi, one can AFK macro that without doing any work. Had they kept the old system (where you most likely had to do other professions than crafting), I would have never done Jedi. In fact, knowing my luck, I would have been stuck with all the combat professions, where you actually have to play to earn your Jedi.

Oh well, I thoroughly enjoy the new system: no work and all reward!!

I AGREE! If you want to become Jedi, they should have made it one HUGE theme park. I mean, something on the scale of {Rebel Themepark + Imperial Themepark + Jabba Themepark + Nyms Themepark(oh wait, just kidding, Nym's was a joke if you know the trick :smileywink - Nyms Themepark} * 1000

Now that would be a test of willpower, patience, perseverance...everything really!

After you do get your Jedi, you are right...the grind is definitely long. But, I just want to get my free character and the FS grind issuper easy. But whether I go up the actual Jedi lines with my Jedi or not, I am stilla Jedi (maybe not in the eyes of some, but in the eyes of the game I am). To truly limit the Jedi population, there should be something that would detour people from unlocking in the first place, right? And after the "Initiate Themepark of Torture," I am really glad I don't have to do another themepark (I pray at least). Nothing is worse than doing stupid little tasks for hours upon end....you definitely cannot afk macro that

And to answer futurequestions on "why even unlock then if you don't want to do anything with your jedi?" To get afree character that takes hardly any work on my part, of course!

Umm .. just throwing this out there, but, didn't we already have to do Jabba's + Rebel + Nym's to get FS?

I personally think it should be more along the lines of Jedi type content which was in KOTOR. Acting as an investigator in a crime, a laywer in a court room, etc. etc. MIND puzzles. Then only bright individuals would be Jedi. Until everyone posts the answers on here. Where the Devs would then read and change the game. And then we would be back to square one. **** it. Bring on the mind numbing grinding.

Study this a minimum of TWICE in it's entirety BEFORE you post

"Empire had the better ending, I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett it ends on such a down note, I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All Jedi had was a bunch of muppets."

Yes, we had those themeparks already...but I was just saying that if they were to make the Jedi road one huge theme park it would be on a much larger scale than all 3 of those combined (not exactly like them)

Luke was a master Moisture Farmer, who made countless trips to the village. He tried to trade in his exp of bullseyeing womp rats in Beggars Canyon, but piloting skills don't count towards the force. Piloting is twitch skills and twitch skills obviously don't reflect your ability to use the force.
