Thread: Where to start looking for crystals?

I have read about the crystal dropping mobs and was wondering where a mid-level pistoleer should begin hunting them. I have killedhundreds of Kunga and never seen one. At the level I am at, I dont know how much tougher enemy's I can fight. Maybe tuskens would be worth it. Anyway, anyone have any suggestions about where to start. Not really looking for quality right now, just something. I am almost done with the village and have no crystals. Thanks alot for any assistance.

Well i think i read somewhere u can loot crystals off ewoks,i don't know how strong they r so i've nvr fought em,so i'm not sure,i'd sugest getting luck first so u have a better chance of looting em

I remember i looted my firstcrystals of tuskens at the tusken fort on tat., i suggest you go there with some friend(s) tho
atleast until you handle that pistol better, but i allways used to meet ppl when i get there to team up with, havent been there for a while tho. Ewoks that deneric mentioned also drops crystals, for me they drop alot of crystals and they are no high mobs.
I got my last crystals the other day from a mokk and a montain clan slave.
And what deneric said about getting the luck tree, does luck really work? Anyone has it?

If u go to the tusken fort on tatooine and kill tusken captains, tusken cheifs you get crystals, but you get a lot if u kill the tusken executioner. only a master jedi can kill those.

Well i'm not sure if it works cause i don't have it yet but i read what it said and it should help loot,btw could a 2/1/1/2 marksman take Ewoks down by themselves?i perfer using the rifle part

Corbantis server, todays changes with the publish tweaked something, i hunt lok, canyon corsairs then droid cave, and i can tellyou the Canyon Corsair hideout, hit it twice during my buff session and looted 5 crystals, have never looted crystals off them before. Just a heads up.

Fort Tusken. I looted 2 colour crystals and a clear crystal there in a couple hours. Problem with Fort Tusken, like the Squill Cave, is it's overhunted. Everyone with their overhead on, /burstrunning to thefew red arrows to spawn after the place has been cleared out. Killstealers galore.

u can kill executioner with rifleman / combat medic i did it many times not a big deal

but you get a lot if u kill the tusken executioner. only a master jedi can kill those.
hum hate to break you myth but i have personall taken out 8 tusken executioner. 7 tusken witch doctor and atleast 10 tusken osbervers or whatever their called. In fact my guild hall and town is located only 2k away from the fort. i generel hunt there 75% of the time . and all my crystals but 2 have come from there. AND I have never heard of anyone looting more then 1 crystal off a executioner at a time. out of the 8 i have only looted 1 plus some heavy duty casps. they tend to give up their head more often then crystal and that was during the mayor election thing.
as for the 20 plus crystal must of them have drop off of tusken raiders, snipers, commoner as much as from chiefs, captains and warlords.
and for the higher tuskens i didnt solo them but had a doctor/cm healing me and a pistoler/commando helping out

If you're lucky to find a good time when nobody else is in the fort, then if you're like me you won't know which tuskens dropped what LOL. Aggro'ed by 3 chiefs, 2 captains, a warlord, and 3 commoners, once I'd finished /unarmedspin2'ing and /unarmedknockdown2'ing and /unarmedhit3'ing , I seemed to have picked up some loot, and maybe there's a crystal there. Dunno from which Tusken though, they're dead so I can't ask them ... 
I know their rank has nothing to do with the credit drop. Most higher-ranking Tuskens drop more credits than commoners or raiders, but that's not a hard and fast rule...I've also gotten 700+ credits from a raider right after looting only 200 from his boss.
