Ok after my visit from the old man and then the attack from the 2 sith guys I recieved my piece of ore and my waypoint to the sith camp. Whenever I go to the waypoint its always empty no matter what I do. I have tried leaving the planet and coming back and it tells me to investigate it again but its still always empty. I have waited a week for downtimes etc. Nothing seems to populate the camp to kill them and recieve my waypoint to the jedi village. I have just tried getting rid of the waypoints from my datapad deleting the ore and even deleting the force crystal to see if I can start over from the old man and nothing. When I leave the planet now and come back I get the waypoint again for the sith camp but its still empty and the old man wont come again to get me started again and getting the sith to attack again. I have looked everywhere and asked everyone I know and no one seems to have any ideas of what to do. I have been glowly for 2 weeks. Anyone have any idea as to what I can do now? I have sent one customer service ticket in but havent heard back at all either. Please help someone!! I have no respects outstanding and no vet rewards waiting either that could bug it.

I have the exact same problem - old man came, Ireceived the crystal. I was attacked by Sith a few hours later, killed them and got some ore and a waypoint datapad. Used thedatapad and it said to investigate thelocation- the waypoint was empty. The waypoint keeps coming back again and again now, always the exact same place, always empty. So I deleted the crystal, ore, and waypoint - but no re-visit from the old man to reinitiate the quest - and the waypoint never stops reinitiating after being destroyed, or discovering nothing there.

So it seems this bug is not unusual and is probably a recent occurence. There seems to be no way to fix it on my side (everything destroyed, yet whenever I log in or even 'zone' the old empty waypoint reappears). I've sent a CSR ticket, but I get the feeling the system is just broken.

Hope this can be fixed, or just a way to get rid of the always-returning waypoint at least! What a disappointment so far though. I can't believe how fast excitement turned to despair, if only there was a way to reset this problem I'd be happy to start again.

I guess we'll see.

I know the feeling. The same thing happened to me. (Though for not as long) After a few times of loging in and out when I went to the base it worked. Also someone told me to walk 500m away and then return to the waypoint.

Yes, but you probably hadn't destroyed the crystal and the ore - with those gone, even if the base does appear I have no crystal any longer, and no old man to start it over for me.

Don't I need the crystal when I visit the village?

I think also, my waypoint is always the same place, and is very near housing on Dantooine, so it will never spawn there.

So frustrating :-) I don't mind 'not' going force sensitive either, but the never ending waypoint thing appearing at each log and zone,has to go away.

Damn,I wish there was a fix for this neverending emptySith camp bug. If only we could just abort this quest, like we can all the others, and start over.

This same bug has happened to me also. I hope they fix this soon. I would like to start my force sensitive quests.

I still haven't found one, and if I don't keep on top deleting the never ending flow of "Investigate the waypoint" waypoints, I'll collected dozens in my datapad. It seems to be unfixable, and besides totally ending the force sensitive quests - the darn waypoint overload is so annoying.

I've sent CS tickets, friends have sent CS tickets - no replies after days. I think we are on our own.

Wish I had better news, maybe it will happen to enough people that it will get fixed someday?

UPDATE!!!

Ok after doing the trick with the running away and coming back I put in a ticket to customer support. About an hour later I was messaged from a CSR who logged in and reset the waypoint for me. I went to the waypoint and it was fixed, full of sith and my quest was completed. I got to make my trip to the village and I am on my way with quests.

Word of warning: THE COMMANDER QUEST IS SO BUGGED AND LONG ITS NOT WORTH TAKING!

Okay cool thanks for the advice. My friend was having thisproblem.Too late on the advice on the commander though lol already finished it...that...mission...blows...ughh
