Thread: Grinding FS xp is not hard at all. Let me give you some clues how to make it less painful

OK i know this from experiance because i did the old jedi grind when you had to do professions. to be honest i think it was easyer then but it still took me 6 months to get my jedi. just like know so /srug.
this i how you max you xp in like1.5 hours.
1. Have Jedi in your group thats a Defender. (Has Avoid Incap)
2. Make sure you have 8 people in the group at 7 min.
3. Now the prof. you pick is up to you, most people are BH's becuause you can max out on more weapons so less runs to the village.
Ranger is good to because all the stuff you kill you can harvest and max out really quick.
4. Let the jedi run in and do a Area Attack and you just every animal at least one time. then start killing the animals at that time. Im a Master Defender and i took on like 6 lvl 82 pikets at a time and all the guys in the group loved it because we wereclearinga piket lair in like 4 min max and they were getting like 350k xp perlair.
5. Now i know its hard to find a jedi to go out with you to do this but its well worth it. iam now doing the FS grind with myalt and feelthe pain of theFS grind. But with the information aboveyou will max out 1.5 hours and you can get your boxes filled quick and have FS xp saved for the next phase. Im on the sunrunner server and go in groups all the time to help people out and my guild members do the same for me.
For grinding xp i use BH 0444, Novice Medic, Scout 4000, Master TK, and Commado 1040. With that template you can get about 250k FS xp in one run. Tryed that today and it worked.

One better, Master BH and one other Proffesion(combat) ex. Commando or a Melee one. 430k FS every maxout.

Yes that is true MBH and a melee prof is the best way. Or you can use nades butyou will die alot ifyou do that.

Yes this works very very well. Even though I was not getting xp because I was capped on everything, We had at least 20 dewbacks CL81 on us and was clearing lairs in no time. This was probable the most fun I had since the CU. You wanna talk about an intense battle. WooHoo.
I got in a group and did this Saturday while I was waiting on the Sith to attack for the first time. We had one Jedi Master Defender and a full group. It was a blast. I know the other guys were getting alot of xp doing this so it is another effective and FUN way of grinding.
BTW not one person got incapped or killed during all this.

Oh, he just mistyped. He meant to say "NUDES". See, what you do is, get a bunch of you're guildmates together, and you all strip down to your undies and do chicken dance in front of the mobs till their head explode. Naked Chicken Dance XP converts 1:1 so it's the best xp in the game. You just die alot because of pneumonia when it rains, that and the constant biting in the groin area from voritors, man those things have sharp teeth

its hard to get a jedi yeah u got that right. but its almost impossible to find a master defender who is willing to go group grinding! im not trying to be rude or anything im seriouse what is so good about a master defender?

It was no big deal - I eventually found out but I don't see the problem with questing. Either answer it or bugg off.

Original post is correct it's not hard at all. Boring, but not hard. Here's an even faster method:
30.625 hours for all 7,350,000 FS experience in Combat/Reflexes. Here's how:
Grenade throwing earmed me about 100k of combat exp for that one lair and creatures alone. So I can see why it's so popular and if someone has a strong PA with several Jedi willing to power level you. Wow now I can see how people can max out all their combat exp in a single week. If you're a MBH you can get100k combat per lair x 9 missions, each lair taking about 3 minutes with a group full of say 4 Jedi, 2 CM and x amount of Grenade throwers another 2 minutes of travel and down time. 5 minutes x 9 missions is 45 minutes to Cap combat, 30 minutes to village and back (death at village for quick port back). So thats 24.5 trips to the village. You are looking at 30.625 hours for the entire 7,350,000 FS combat/reflex exp necessary for 6 skill trees. WOW.
Here's the math:
100,000 combat exp per lair. That comes from 6k combat per creature and the lair its self. I was getting about 6350 on average which included a 10% entertainer buff.
100k x 9 lairs = 900k combat exp cap.
900k combat exp = 300k FS combat/reflex EXP
5 minutes to kill the lair and travel to the next lair
5 minutes x 9 lairs = 45 minutes to cap combat experience
30 minutes to get to village and back to Dant converting your exp.
thats 75 minutes per cap/conversion trip
four boxes of combat/reflexes requires 1,225,000 FS experience
1,225,000 x 6 = 7,350,000
7,350,000 / 300k = 24.5
24.5 trips x 75 minutes = 1837.5 minutes / 60 = 30.625 hours
Of course that's at optimal conditions, which if you are in a big enough PA with enough high end Jedi Knights should be fairly easy to maintain.

Ok. I appologize. Nades are short for grenades. Some people use them during their grind for xp to convert to FS XP. Here is the reason why. When a person throughs a "nade" and does not attack the mob with any other weapon or do any healing during the fight they get all the xp for that mob in combat xp. Combat xp (next to Bounty Hunter xp) has the best conversion ratio at 3:1. So if you take 300k of combat xp to the village you get 100K fsxp when you convert it. This method of grinding is very contriversal.
