Just curious to know if such "an old man" who is SO important would brave the dense jungles?

thanks for the advice man, i got off Wookieville as fast as i could, and as soon as i landed in my home town the old man was waiting for me, no bugs either

what if i go to kashyyyk before 12 hours are up and be sure to get back on time?

Man in retrospect it's only three days. And if you get stuck with him somewhere on kashyyyk you basically should delete your character but it's your choice.

Why risk it at all wait the few days. The planet will still be there. I have seen someone get the oldman in a matter of hours do not count on a 12 hour min. Your best bet is sit in your favorite PC town out in the open not indoors and pray.

There are lots of issues with the old man falling through the geometry on Kashyyyk. If you are expecting a visit do not go to Kashyyyk.
